Overcharged and couldn't diagnose even though I told them On 12/28/18 I received a quote for an engine oil cooler from Sullivan tire for around 1k and they could fix it that day. I went to Boch Chevrolet Norw On 12/28/18 I received a quote for an engine oil cooler from Sullivan tire for around 1k and they could fix it that day. I went to Boch Chevrolet Norwood on 12/29 for a second quote on it. They told me there isn’t an engine oil cooler and there is no cooling system for this. They fixed a seal for $400 and sent me on my way saying the issue is all set. The issue persisted (smoke filling the cabin; I am pregnant and drive around a 2 year old) and I brought my car back Monday and they told me the engine oil cooler needs to be replaced. I was outraged. They would have the part for me the following Thursday and the cost was around $1,500 additional on top of the $400 I spent. Bruce negotiated the price for the work that needed to be done because they told me incorrectly (apparently the master technician or advisor relayed bad info) that I didn’t have this in my car. So much time was wasted, I spent lots of holiday traveling and driving dealing with the smoke smell filled cabin with me and my daughter. It’s ludicrous I would come in and state I needed a quote on the engine oil cooler, only to be told I don’t have one, then $2,000 later tell me I need one. I should have never gone to Chevrolet. All of my friends and family are bewildered at the experience as well. I feel ripped off and so much of my time was wasted, so much time driving back and forth to this dealer, waiting for my car at home and taking time off of work. It was a major inconvenience and I regret coming to this place. It cost me more in the long run even though the price was negotiated after realizing their mistake. More

Frustration Communication lacking. 12/15/18- I called the service department due to a slice in my tire. I asked to make sure the tire would be covered under the Communication lacking. 12/15/18- I called the service department due to a slice in my tire. I asked to make sure the tire would be covered under the tire plan I purchased at the time I purchased the vehicle. I was transferred to someone who could answer the warranty question. While on the phone with him- I was advised that it would be covered. He asked if I wanted to bring it in today (12/15/18) and it would not take long at all. I said I couldn’t do it today but made an appointment to come in on Monday, December 17. He would let service know I would be coming in for a new tire. 12/17/18- I left work early to come in at 2:45. When I got to the service center I was informed the person I spoke to regarding the warranty never informed service that I would be coming in. I was also informed that it isn’t a quick process and I would have to fill out the warranty paperwork/incident report. I did so. I was then informed that the tire was not in stock and would have to be ordered. So I came in for nothing. I was told they would call me in a couple days when the tire came in. 12/23/18- I had not heard back from anyone regarding the tire so I called the service department. I was transferred to a voicemail of the gentleman that was supposedly handling my case. I left a message asking for the status of the tire. I never received a call back. 1/2/19- I called back again to check on the status. The person I talked to said there is nothing in the system about a tire. She had to call me back. She called me back and set up an appointment for 1/3/19 for me to come in again to get the tire replaced. I asked if there will be someone I can speak to about this whole situation when I come in on 1/3/19 and was assured there would be. I called back a few minutes later to get clarification that the tire would actually be covered. I did not receive a call back with this confirmation. I filled out the incident report on 12/17/18 but was not confident this was handled properly because when I called on 1/2/19 it seems like nothing was ever done- beginning with my original call on 12/15/18 More
