Upon receiving a letter offering many incentives for trading our lease in for a new 2010 CRV, you can imagine our reaction. We headed to Boch and decided to talk to a sale person. I recently purchased a Honda Odyssey after negotiating a I recently purchased a Honda Odyssey after negotiating a price with Boch Honda (MA). After running my Credit Ratings for Honda Finance Loan approval I recently purchased a Honda Odyssey after negotiating a price with Boch Honda (MA). After running my Credit Ratings for Honda Finance Loan approval I was presented with an offer of opting for a 4.99% APR and getting some extended warranties and extra package. I wanted to know if that would cost anything extra, he basically confused me by saying that it in an offer for you Credit Score and you pay only $2 extra monthly if you opt for this. He repeatedly declined to give my any extra cost/amount that would be added to the total price of the car for opting this. I basically believed this guy as he looked very trust worthy. He did not provide me with any copies of any payments I would have to make and said that I would receive it in mail directly from Honda Finance. After reaching home I did some calculation and found out that at 4.99% the monthly payment he suggested was way higher. On this on my second visit to pick up the car I asked about any extra amount, and what is the current total amount. Still he declined and said that Honda Finance will mail you that. On this I felt very suspicious and directly contacted Honda Finance Corporation, and they conveyed that Boch had asked for a total of around $33,256.78 for me whereas my total due was only around $29,000. The extra amount of around $4000 was kept hidden from me and never provided any clue on this, I was mislead into believing that I would have to pay just around $2 extra per month( or a very negligible ) amount for the extra package that was offered. This was a huge let down and frightening experience, especially when dealing with such a big dealer. I am trying to get in touch with them, to cancel all my extra package and make my payment only for the original amount of around $29,000. More
