Accepted taking their finance - but then still would not give net price. 2. Asked for specific date to get car. They said "come on in we'll take care of it". Then got to the sign off manager who said absolutely no way they could deliver at that time. I had now passed up/ lost another great deal. Not upfront. Get things in writing with absolute yes or no answers. After signing contract which I was nervous about after bait and switch. Walked out past the car on the way out. Saw a good sized dent on the door. I was so surprised I thought some other car door hit the car. I went inside immediately and told the salesguy /showed him. Said must have been how the sun was hitting it. They did with credit make effort to fix. But lucky I caught it. Looking back - the car was newly waxed / polished, and he opened all the doors when I walked up. Guy said he was a car detailer in the past. Be careful. Advice - don't set appointments ahead to know you are coming. Just show up early when not busy and ask to see a car. I will see when the polish wears off how many scratches. Finally on DMV pickup, I asked for the number of who would call so I could recognize. Got name - No Number. Agreed to set a time to meet. Next morn I am literally at work and get a call. I can only quick text back "I am on call " for work. An hour later - I get a series of calls - guy says he is at DMV now ready to go. He sent a text saying just meet me at xxx time. We hadn't agree on a time, and I couldn't leave work at the time. Ran out of work. Says he is going to pay and not wait for me to get there. I said NO, I don't want you to pay. I get there and guy said I paid for you. Now write a check to him. Terrible commuication and not a my convenience. Today i went to Botch website and found seven day return guarantee. The paper contract says no returns - but I should have checked the website. I was never told about any return policy - but be sure you check all policies. It says they return everything take everything back - except taxes and fees (which makes sense). Looking back, they were not doing any favors. By PAYING before I got there, they were basically sealing the deal. Had I read that policy yesterday, I could have ended the deal - but after paying taxes - no one is going to take their 7-day return policy (on website - but never mentioned. After all that, the guy asks me to sign off to take One key. I never saw a paper saying how many keys. And I have bought many cars from dealers and private / new and used. I have never had a dealer hand over a car with one key. Very subpar chea move i'd expect from a salvage aution car sale place - not a certified dealer. I asked to get another key. Once DMV and taxes paid - silence - no answers. More
