Customer Service oriented, knowledgeable and reasonable Our circumstances changed and we needed to purchase a new car quickly. We went to Nutley Kia on a Wednesday night without an appointment (it didn’t ev Our circumstances changed and we needed to purchase a new car quickly. We went to Nutley Kia on a Wednesday night without an appointment (it didn’t even cross our minds to make one). We were asked to wait and offered coffee, water or cocoa. The crew checked in on us once or twice, encouraging us to check out what was on the lot (we were looking for a used car), but the wait was quite long. Finally, Chris came to help us. We told him which two cars we were interested in and he took us for a test drive in both. He answered all our questions honestly and did NOT try to upsell us. Once given all the information, he gave us plenty of time to think. The whole crew was also friendly with our 8 year old son who, understandably, was getting fidgety. We also witnessed a well handled annoyed customer situation by the manager. Once we decided, the manager took off a significant amount of money because of our wait. They also honored the online coupon I found. They did not rush us out despite the lateness of the hour. We picked up the car the next day - they had washed it, changed the oil and filled the tank. When met with the finance/legs guy, he too was super friendly. Though, of course it is his job to try to give us add-ons, once we told him what we wanted, he accepted it and validated our decision.
