Daughter picked her car up Saturday n 45 minutes later it started shaking and battery light, check engine, oil light and steering got hard another light came on. Towed it from New Brunswick Saturday night to started shaking and battery light, check engine, oil light and steering got hard another light came on. Towed it from New Brunswick Saturday night to my house for $90 and towed again 6/19 for $40 when they opened. Randall said they couldn't pay for towing. Today is Tuesday and they told my daughter it may be the battery which I know she has a 2 month old battery. Colleen was out Monday so no one touched my car because for some reason they have to wait for Colleen. My car originally was being serviced for air conditioner and washer fluid leaking. They found a cracked radiator so all of this was supposed to be fixed. Whatever happened when they made those repairs is the reason why my daughter still doesn't have her car. Every time she had to call n check on her car because of lack of communication to give an update on repairs. No one offered her a loaner car for this new problem that she has now or a refund for 2 tows. Colleen has been more understanding of the situation but Debbie and Randall could care less that she has to get to work! I will update on what happens after it's fixed right. Car was riding smoothly b4 they worked on it. Wasn't even overheating when she had a vrack in the radiator that we weren't aware off. Thank God the extended warranty tool care of the 1st work order. I purchased a new stinger 2022 and a couple month later got into an accident with the front left wheel hitting a curb. I brought the car back for repairs and had to pay out of pocket. The sales rep that got into an accident with the front left wheel hitting a curb. I brought the car back for repairs and had to pay out of pocket. The sales rep that I purchased the car from was great. 10/10 service from Andre. But the service department has given me the run around. After the diagnosis that was done . The parts were orders and I paid that amount they asked for parts+labor. I then drive the car again and notice a vibrating feeling throughout the car. I can feel shaking from the floor of the car to my steering wheel. Nobody properly test drove the car . Because when I brought it back, they tried telling me that nothing is wrong with the car … I was furious. I drove the car for 3k miles already . I know what it’s supposed to drive like. They then test drive the car and confirm that NEW PARTS need to be orders and add 900$ cost to the total repairs. Bad diagnosis Bad service More

Unfortunately I am not here to write about a positive experience and it will probably be a long read but it’s just so much that needs to be said. I will 1st say it’s been about 2 weeks since I’ve gotten experience and it will probably be a long read but it’s just so much that needs to be said. I will 1st say it’s been about 2 weeks since I’ve gotten my car back and the actual work of the technician seems to have been done efficiently so thank you for that but the unnecessary stress and unprofessionalism my husband and I were met with from the owner Anne Rusamano is enough to keep us farrrrr away in the future. In September my husband experienced a pulling in his vehicle while traveling on Interstate 78 so he exited where the car then stalled. We then took it in to Nutley Kia for a diagnostic appointment on September 22nd and before reaching home which was only 9 miles away we got a call that the car was ready. When we arrived we were charged a fee of $152.66 stating the only issue found were bad tires. When we questioned what that had to do with the stalling we were met with no explanation. Against our wishes we complied and paid. Exactly 1 month later on October 23rd we had a total failure! We called immediately to now be told by phone it could possibly be the engine and would have to tow it at OUR expense to be diagnosed. It was not until this moment we did research and found that our 2015 Kia Optima was apart of a huge class action lawsuit against Kia for faulty engines something that should of been mentioned when we initially came in September. And why were we charged a diagnostic fee for something that’s a recall/warranty? Seems fraudulent as I’ve had a recall repair and paid no out of pocket cost but to this day we have not been offered reimbursement. We got the car towed that same day it was a Saturday and likely reached just after closing. On Monday and Tuesday we waited around for a call but nothing. Tuesday by about 3PM still nothing not even a simple confirmation that the car made it and an estimated timeline for repair so my husband called and was simply told they didn’t get to look at it yet. I then followed up and was told how backed up they were with labor and parts. I soon inquired about a loaner to which I was met with the answer that there weren’t any. At one point I made an inquiry about the process of getting a car from Enterprise to which Anne seemed to try to convince me to not do stressing the fact that Enterprise was out of cars and the amount they charged was astronomical when in fact I had found availability at my local location and the daily amount was $45 which would have been fine being as though she said Kia covered $40 a day (but once again not having a timeline I didn’t even know what return date to put so I continued to figure it out on my own). Long story short through this whole process there was a lack of communication. No one ever reached out for updates we would have to call and were always made to feel like a bother. And even when we did speak to someone whether it be Anne or her worker Ashley Vanegas the information was always vague. After almost 3 weeks of nothing I was a my wit ends so I went in person on November 11th (Veterans Day) to get some answers! On this day Anne asked me was I not watching the news and seeing how ships are sitting outside of California with parts when in reality no I was not afterall I had a 3 month old newborn at home. Additionally what did that have to do with them not communicating to me? Not once did I get a call stating hey this is the issue and this is where we are at in the process. It was on this day that I came in person she said yes your engine needs to be replaced but it’s reading a oil error do you have proof of oil changes to which I replied I had a carfax to prove although I read an article on Forbes stating dealers weren’t supposed to request this info any longer as Kia was aware of their negligence but to not cause further delay I emailed the info. At this moment again I asked for a timeline and Anne then retrieved another vehicles paperwork to show me that it had been there since May and he was “paying” for his work. I now saw this was about money with her. Because I was a warranty job and not “paying” despite the fact that I pay a car note for this car and have been unable to drive it or have a comparable means of transportation. Safe to say I left more stressed than I came b/c that was 6 months they had this other car she just had to tell me about. She gave me a textable # and said she would communicate better with me about the status. Tuesday November 16th my husband gets a call letting him know the car was about done but that he desperately needed tires in order to complete a road test. When he called me with this info I was understandably confused as I was just here 5 days earlier and there was no date in the near future of having parts let alone the repair completed so I called for clarity. The woman I believe Constance answered and I said my husband was called about tires so does that mean the car is done? She put me on hold just to return stating she was unsure could she call me back. At this point I’m fuming! I send a text to the number Anne gave me days before asking for an explanation. Instead of her responding to me she decided to call my husband back and be extremely rude! She said to him he is basically getting a new car, he’s getting a “free engine” doesn’t he want to be safe and put new tires on? When he replied no she said to him “do me a favor when we are done with this, don’t come back here.” He then asked is my car ready to which she replied in a week. When this information got back to me I was naturally upset! My husband and I were inconvenienced without warning by not having our car and in the whole process we still remained understanding and patient although it was a major stressor for us. I immediately within a couple hours went to the dealership to confront Anne again about the status of the car and this conversation she’d had with my husband. When I arrived she looked surprised to see me. I questioned her about the conversation to which she denied. I then questioned her about the car status to which she bought up the tires again and proceeded to take me to see the car. As we approached where the car was supposed to be she acted surprised and stated “O they must be taking the car on a road test.” So the car you told my husband another week for and had undrivable tires was miraculously out road testing. I was able to have my car released to me and chose to tow it. To my surprise the tow driver when he arrived stated I came to the “worst place ever”. He apparently towed cars from this location frequently and have heard horror stories about the blonde haired lady which turns out to be Anne. Now that’s just sad. The crazy part is my husband and I were well aware that the car needed tires but let’s be realistic who wants to hear about tires when they don’t know if the car is even going to start or drive. We ended up getting the car home and inconvenienced ourselves by getting tires elsewhere but at that point I could not give Anne and her location 1 penny of my money. I know this was extremely long but if you read this STAY AWAY unless you’re up for playing reindeer games. I deal with 2 other dealers for my 2nd vehicle and NEVER have they treated me this way whether my car was there for a “paid” job or recall. In fact when I did have a recall they were able to talk me into over $1000 worth of work for my timing belt and brakes because they were informative and didn’t make me feel like I had to make a “purchase” to get the recall fixed. Hope this helps someone. More

Initially I was happy with my purchase of a used 2013 Kia Soul. However, four months later my assessment of this dealership could not be worse. The car that purchase on March 4 2021 worked well for a few m Soul. However, four months later my assessment of this dealership could not be worse. The car that purchase on March 4 2021 worked well for a few months but after that the engine started over heating. and the engine check light came on. I brought the vehicle to the dealer in mid July, and since then it has been sitting in their repair shop for over six weeks with no repair work done on it, in spite of the fact that the car was sold to me with a dealer engine warranty. My only conclusion from this bitter experience is that this dealership is either very incompetent or a scam. More
