From the first phone call til the day we drove off the lot in our new purchase, Jim was great! Answered all of our questions and came thru with all of our requests. Purchase a vehicle from O'Neill's and had the vehicle for only a week and a half, when I called to the Service Department to express things that needed attention. I was referred to Mr. Bryan Collin, who inst only a week and a half, when I called to the Service Department to express things that needed attention. I was referred to Mr. Bryan Collin, who instead of taking my claims as legitimate, began to fight and argue with me over the phone, basically telling me this could not be. I was perplexed by his attitude. Items wrong with the vehicle: 1. Creaking Noise coming from the Right Front 2. When raining, stream of water cascading across the view of the mirror 3. When Lowering the Windows - Driver's Side especially, will not clear debris on the Window 4. Windshield Glass Defective - When Sun hit glass certain way, could see a billion Defects in the glass that obscured the view of the road 5. Bracket under hood that was not painted and rusting. O’Neill had prepped the Vehicle before delivering it to me and missed this 6. The Mirror Driver's Side had an insulator that was out of place from factory causing issue 7. The molding around Driver's Side Door not fitted properly causing issue 8. Rubbing noise coming from Driver's Side Door while driving down the road 9. Rear Cover Plates Leak I took the vehicle to another GM Dealer who as with the attitude of O'Neill was equal to the repairs performed. Every time they did work, I would have to bring the vehicle back for them to either put parts of the vehicle back where they belonged or have them do the job over again. GM will not re-purchase the vehicle insisting that they can fix everything wrong with the vehicle. I got rid of a vehicle because I was having problems that were caused by a repair. Now I am beginning with this vehicle where I left off with the old vehicle. I am being told by Mr. Sullivan of O’Neill’s that he has refused service to my vehicle because he doesn't think he can please me. I sent a letter to the CT Motor Vehicle Department last week to make complaint about O’Neill’s and told Mr. Sullivan that this was what I was going to do because he has refused to send me a copy of the Work Order of the work they did perform. Yesterday, I got a call form Kevin Fitzpatrick, from the CT DMV that told me he had received my letter, but had gotten a call from Mr. O'Neill - stating that he did not normally take complaints out of order, but he took enough time to tell me if my vehicle was new he could not assist me with O'Neill. The curious thing, Mr. Sullivan had enough time to call CT DMV, but he has not the where for all to send me my requested information. Mind you this is a Brand New $55,000.00 2011 Avalanche. If I am to be believed, to have these many things wrong with a brand new vehicle I shouldn't be looking at repairs, they should be providing me with another vehicle. But they won't - GM won't. They have their GM Rep involved and I am talking with my attorney. More
These guys were friendly & honest about everything from the first phone conversation all the way to the car pickup. Car was priced fair and they still dropped $500 for me. At the day of pick up they had the car ready with a full tank of gas, all the paper work was done, i just had to sign in a couple places and drive away. I have been driving the car for a couple weeks now and everything seems to be working fine. Judging by this experience I’ll be sure to check what they have in stock the next time I’m buying a car. I've never been there before. I found a Truck That I really liked and I went there to check it out. Took it for Test Drive. After that we went in the office get price on it. I would recommend this dealership. Fred Misterka was very helpful. The car was represented over the phone and online exactly as it was, which was definitely important to us since we drove 2.5 hours fro very helpful.
