I live in NC, so it was a remote purchase. I understand they may not do a ton of those, but all dealerships do some. Mailing of paperwork should be a thing of the past. I had to do quite a bit of that instead of just docu-signing. It really slowed down the process. They wanted me to finance through them and the process was slow and the rates did not come close to what I told them I had already and the seem to know they couldn't beat it, but took and extra 2 days anyway. The worse part was getting it shipped. They kept promising me it would be picked up the next day and then the NEXT day and then the NEXT day. I ended up arranging my own shipping because they just couldn't secure any shipping at all after like a week. My guy picked it up. They forgot to give him the 30 day-tag, so we couldn't even drive it the day it showed up. I put another cars plate on it for a couple days(very annoying). They ended up next-daying the temp tag. Then they registered the vehicle in NC, but had the plate sent to there office instead of my house. Not only that. When it got to there office, no one did anything with it. It just sat and sat and sat. We had no idea where the plate was. They sent us a 2nd 30 day tag because we hadn't go it and the first was about to expire. The entire time it was sitting in their corporate office. Only after I called my salesman(Hong) and asked him to check if DMV had sent it to them instead of us did someone realized their mistake and sent it to us overnight. So from deal to loan close was about week. Then shipping never happened, so I arranged my own and got it about 8-9 days after I had paid for it already. The paperwork and process was horrible after the buy. I understand I was out of state, but geez. Shouldnt take over 2 weeks. Hong stayed in touch, but whomever was over him definitely wasn't really helping. Ball was dropped in several places. More
The sales manager wrote a got for my cost on Friday. When I went to purchase the car he raised it by $1500.
