"After they make the sale, they don't care"

- Mary Gen Davies

I have had horrible experiences there ever since purchasing my car in December. It started when I purchased my car and they refused to give me temporary plates (saying they "couldn't" do that, the first I've ever heard from ANY dealer). They then told me (incorrectly) that I could put one of the same plate on the back of my old and my new cars until I traded the old one in, which is actually illegal in Illinois; I discovered this is illegal when I acquired more than $200 in parking tickets in Chicago. Every single encounter I've had with them since has also been horrible. I just had work done on my car and had to have my wiper fluid receptacle replaced; I didn't discover until after I left that, of course, they never re-filled it. My sales agent, Luis, hasn't returned my calls or e-mails to him over the past few months, despite the repeated attempts to get a hold of him for various reasons. Clearly, once he made the sale, he doesn't care one bit about his [former] customers. Only Mike, the Sales Manager, has been actually helpful. Everyone else I've dealt with has been horrible. While they may be really great when trying to sell you a car, it's not worth the headache, frustration, and added cost to go here after that. Do yourself a favor and find another dealer, even if you have to drive a little farther away.

"Rims Peeling "

- Shepherd55

I was treated rudely by Service Manager about the peeling of the rims on my 16 Mazda 6 which I purchased from them.I had to point out peeling on rims was only going to replace 2 ,showed him all he said I was nitpicking.I could peel it off with my fingernail he said I was damaging the rim and he would right down put in my file. No time for me!He said go to CJ Wilson so I did no problems here Thanks CJ.

"Best Sales Experience"

- simplylr

I was greeted at the door by the Brad and Sam. The vehicle I flew into town to see was parked out front waiting for my arrival. Sam Ahmad was very personable and really enjoys working with people and providing outstanding customer service. I couldn't not have asked for a better experience. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle, go to Oak Lawn Mazda in IL for great deals and outstanding service.

"2015 Mazda 6 Touring"

- NikkiBeautii

Disclaimer: I am going to go into my detailed story about the excellent service I received at Oaklawn Mazda if long stories aren’t your thing know that they are very kind and courteous people there especially when you go see Roger Mayorga! GO SEE ROGER he will help you get a sweet deal! The first car that I got was a Mazda 6 my senior year of high school, I have been in love with Mazdas ever since! ZOOM, ZOOM! Anyway in 2013 I went to visit Oaklawn Mazda to purchase a new vehicle. I got a sales person named Javier or David or something like that he was terrible and very rude to say the least. Ever since then I have been skeptical to set foot into Oaklawn Mazda. I just happened to be in the neighborhood March 2015 so I took my then car (2007 Mazda 6) to the service department for specials. Long story short, it was time to retire my baby and get a new car. The nice guy in the service department introduced me to Roger Mayorga. Roger was young but knowledgeable and very helpful. He found me the car I wanted, with the specs I wanted and helped me trade in my vehicle (2007 Mazda6) for a fair price. He also is a really nice guy with a great personality that made my car buying experience a very easy one! When I bought my first car they had me at the dealership all day. In way less time the people in the credit department and Roger and the guy in finance worked diligently to get me a great deal. They also made sure to explain things thoroughly to me. Buying a car is usually a nerve wrecking experience with the help of the gentlemen at Oaklawn Mazda it was fun, I felt safe, and I was well taken care of. GO SEE ROGER!

"I made a appointment to bring my car in to get serviced...."

- cobal3210

I made a appointment to bring my car in to get serviced. My car failed emissions and i was told i needed to bring it in to get checked before i can take the emissions test again. Jason wouldn't service my car because the check engine light was on. I later called him back because the testing facility wouldn't test my car unless i got it looked at. Jason told me that i can bring it in and run a emissions test on it. Would of been nice to have done it when i brought it in.

"Tried to claim defective carpet was my fault, so it..."

- srk55

Tried to claim defective carpet was my fault, so it wouldn't have to honor warranty. Beware, if you decide to take it there for service. It tried to blame Mazda corporate but Mazda corporate said itwas the dealerships call. I asked why it believed I would try to pull up carpet rather than just seeing that it was installed incorrectly. No answer but to say it would not honor it for warranty but could surely fix it if I paid them more money.
