I have to say I am hurt a little by this review. I worked very hard to help Michael Lee with his purchase. I gave him information, pricing and comparisons right away just as he asked. I tried to offer reasons to come test drive and purchase here. When it was clear that his local dealer was preferred because of convenience I gave him a list of features I would demonstrate and address for him here that is not found in online reviews for the car and would help him at the other dealership. When he had a bad experience there and left not feeling comfortable with some attributes that are considered strong selling points over the vehicle he was considering I again enticed him and tried to even detail these features through email. I made a mistake with a response to his statement that safety was not important to him because he had been driving for years and would not be in a accident. I tried to relay that my opinion on that was that you can not plan for a accident and the safety ratings and features we offer could be useful to him. When he took offense I tried to apologize and explain that email makes it very easy to take something different than it was intended. I offered to get another sales manager involved but he refused and requested me not to contact him again. Yet he emailed me and my rep 4 times. I responded again just so he wouldn't think we were avoiding him this time giving him the contact to the other sales managers that had been waiting to hear from him. He again refused and assaulted me for my attempt to ensure he was getting the help he was requesting. At average height I don't take offense to the short people insult but I don't find it appropriate. But a sales manager tried to respond to him privately and help only to get attacked with political and racist statements. I know some people you can't help and they say everyone has one bad review online but nothing calls for these actions.

Little Man Disease refers to people who belittle others in order to make themselves look bigger. Most of us older folks have seen it over and over where someone has an inflated opinion of themselves and doesn't mind telling you about it over and over. Given the above are Aaron's actual words, you can decide for yourself. Myself, I despise salespeole who talk about themselves. If you have to brag, there is something wrong. The very finest salespeople I have ever worked with were soft spoken and humble, and there have been quite a few of them.

This is one of those unfortunate events. We have a dozen reps at any given time helping customers with their vehicle purchase. This car was available and we full heartedly wanted to sell it to Mr. Brooks. As soon as it was sold Mr. Brooks sales rep called to inform him so that he would not make the full trip and think that we were misleading him on the vehicles original availability when he arrived. I was asked to speak with him when he was upset. During my conversation with him I asked if we had offered him a chance to put down a deposit to secure the vehicle. He said no but when we discussed what that would have entailed he said he would not have taken that option because he was not sure about the car yet. Our policy is a $1000 deposit to take a vehicle off the market. Common with local and out of state customers. I also tried to explain that it would have been unfair to other customers to hold the car for him without the deposit especially since he was not ready to commit. I explained that we would have been in a bad position if he did not show or decided he did not like it. That would risk us losing customers like the one who actually purchased the car. He still felt that he was entitled to first option on the car. I did not offer to sell it to him over the customer who had already committed to the purchase only that I would speak with the sales manager regarding his stance. He was driving and understandably frustrated at the time so I guess you can excuse some of the inaccuracies. We did contact Mr. Brooks after his review to try to resolve his concerns and address those inaccuracies. Unfortunately the vehicle he was coming to see was rare. Only 4 in a 300 mile radius and with 60,000 less miles than it should have had for the year and was hard to replicate. I'm sure this was a major aspect in his frustration. We understand that but just request that he puts up the right details.
