I brought my 2016 Mazda 3 car in for its 65,000 mile maintenance yesterday. Very warm welcome and check in, simple check out. Areas of improvement: give accurate estimate of time to completion, use text message notifications for ready/pickup notification, some dealerships will do of improvement: give accurate estimate of time to completion, use text message notifications for ready/pickup notification, some dealerships will do a courtesy external wash or offer a mini detail upgrade (an easy up sell) for a few extra dollars or included with a minimum service spend, which is a very nice touch. I mention this because there were about 5 small blotches of some kind of white plaster or sediment on the driver side that wasn't there before I arrived - it easily cleaned off but was still noticeable when I went to get in the car and cleaned it when I got home. The service took *2.5 hours with an appointment* whereas the same service takes no more than one hour elsewhere. I do have a prepaid service package so the oil change and rotation are included, but it still shouldn't take that long unless of some extenuating circumstances that could have been explained to me. In hindsight it would have been nice to have left and come back to the dealer or taken a courtesy car to test a newer model for a few hours or overnight. I am not displeased or unhappy, just offering some feedback to make the 'never fun' car maintenance experience just a little more palatable! I've had better experiences with yall and look forward to continued business with you. More
