I purchased a 1994 Toyota pickup sight unseen from Pacific Motors-Boise and was assured by the salesperson Ryan and Dave that the vehicle was road ready and would have no issue with the 1,200 mile dri Pacific Motors-Boise and was assured by the salesperson Ryan and Dave that the vehicle was road ready and would have no issue with the 1,200 mile drive home. Fortunately for me, I was able to have it shipped instead which might of saved my life. I truly doubt I would have made it home safely on 17 year old tires. First and foremost the truck is solid, but the 2009 tires were a major safety concern. I advised them of the 17 year old tires and gave them the opportunity to make it right and they completely ignored me. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and will be suing them in small claims court. I had the tires replaced immediately and the $1,200.00 that I spent is truly a non-issue. I’m disappointed in the way Pacific Motors handled the entire situation. Also, any other reputable dealership would have at least tried to make some type of financial arrangement to make it right! Purchase at your own risk; However, be warned that this dealership obviously doesn’t care about the safety of their customers or they would have never allowed a vehicle with 17 year old tires off the lot! I found several consistently for sale at Pacific Motors in Boise and finally decided to go down and look. The truck I found online had just recently been sold. Paul instead showed me a beautiful 2011 Ford F-150 that they just got in and was being detailed. I decided that was the one. He was so accommodating, low pressure and easy to work with. He made sure all of our needs were met (including putting netflix on the TV for my 2 year old son) and did everything he could to make the buying experience as easy/painless as possible. I would recommend them to anyone! The customer service, selection, and attention to detail are all top notch. I am so happy with how it all worked out! More
