Ewald has replaced the transmission under the warranty at 0 cost to us. They found the transmission was under warranty within an hour of getting in the bay. Still not sure how palman wanted us to pay 4000 dollars to replace it. At what point would have the warranty been discovered? Why was all the other work done before noticing the transmission needed to be replaced? How many warranty issues have been “missed”by the service department in the past by UN informed customers?

Mr. Burdick, The reason that Ewald knew immediately about the warranty is because they put in the 2nd transmission that is now bad and being replaced there. We just had to take a different path of research to verify this, whereas the other dealer had it at their immediate disposal. As for the charges you had incurred here relating to your transmission, once we confirmed the warranty we were able to reverse everything, and said charges have been fully refunded as of just a few moments ago.
