The only complaint I have was the fact that during the entire time I was waiting, none of the staff made any coffee in the pot that was sitting on the counter. Most other dealer service waiting areas off entire time I was waiting, none of the staff made any coffee in the pot that was sitting on the counter. Most other dealer service waiting areas offer this but staff kept walking past the coffee pot and not one of them made any coffee or even asked whether any of the people waiting wanted any. Palmen performed a repair to the Dodge Charger I purchased from them. The repair cost was roughly $4,000 to replace the old camshaft and lifters (roughly the cost of a brand new crate engine from mo purchased from them. The repair cost was roughly $4,000 to replace the old camshaft and lifters (roughly the cost of a brand new crate engine from mopar). Upon completion of the work, I was disappointed to discover they had not changed the oil filter, nor had they replaced all 16 lifters; instead they reinstalled 6 of the old lifters (with more than 140,000 miles of use) onto the new camshaft. I have no doubt the old lifters will fail sooner than later. As such, I am uncomfortable driving the car & will be selling it. I’ve spent over $100,000.00 at Palmen over the last few years, yet was told I could not have a loaner vehicle while the repair was performed. I am truly discouraged. More

Arrived early for appointment. Requested early service if possible. Service manager forgot I was there left me waiting with no status. After I asked 1hour after arriving it was done 45 minutes later. Service and professionalism always good. However, they charged an extra $24 because I did a five wheel tire rotation. They extra time for them to rotate a fifth wheel could not be more than five minutes. charged an extra $24 because I did a five wheel tire rotation. I was 500 miles from home on a business trip to Racine. While driving, I experienced a brake line leak. I used 4 bottles of fluid before arriving at the service center. I was disappointed the manager felt I didn’t know what I was talking about and speculated on a host of problems that might possible. I felt he was adding unnecessary items to my bill. I was disappointed the dealership didn’t stock or could make a simple brake line. This cost me an additional day without a vehicle. Another day at the hotel and postponed my business meeting. I understand a service manager job is busy and can be stressful. Nevertheless, the service manager did not offer any information unless I approached him. The brakes were still soft and faded when I got it back. It was enough to get home, but will need work to get a solid pedal. More
