Very unhappy I traveled 25 miles to Papa's for service because of the experience of my purchase of my 2014 Challenger. With two other dealerships a lot closer I th I traveled 25 miles to Papa's for service because of the experience of my purchase of my 2014 Challenger. With two other dealerships a lot closer I thought I chose the better one. I took my Challenger which I care for inside and out in for just an oil change and tire rotation. When I got home I noticed on my hood and fenders had oily hand prints on them. With the care that I put into my car I was very upset. I called the service dept. and was told that I could bring it in and they would detail my car for me. Like I said earlier I live 25 miles away. I will detail my own car. If this is the way the Ser. Dept. releases vehicles after service then someone needs to be held responsible. I turned in a 2011 Challenger for my new one and as the sales person I dealt with will say that my car was in excellent shape. Will I use Papa's again , not likely. I realize I am just one but I am important. More

I'm questioning the quality of the 2012 Grand Cherokee and I am very happy that I bought the extended warranty. The vehicle has less than 60,000 miles on it and it had three leaking seals and a recalled alternator (that wiped out the PCM computer). My guess is that this would have been a very expensive service if not for the extended warranty. I love the Grand Cherokee and I've owned three since 2000 and I'm not sure I'd but one again. More
"Frustrated over no heat" Had no heat on drivers side of 2012 Jeep . Checked to make sure heat didn't mysteriously return as I arrived for service before I entered building ... Explained problem to service writer. After the vehicle was checked out, I was told by the service writer the heat was fine and the computer could not detect any problems. After questioning this he repeated the computer and the technician that worked on the car said the heat was fine and never offered to walk out and see for himself. This was the kind of service I would have gotten in previous years. I went outside to see if the heat had returned...there was still no heat. I asked to speak to the service manager and the writer directed me to the Director. I explained my problem. He in turn directed me to the foreman who came outside and sat in my vehicle along with a couple of thermostats that were reading zero heat coming out of the vents. The Foreman (I think his name was Dane) understood my frustration and apologized. He asked if I could bring it in another day and he would personally make sure the correct procedures are followed to get the problem rectified. When I purchased this vehicle in 2012 the service department was the main reason I purchased it at Papa's. My review in April 2012 stated this. I have been coming here for the past 20 years and have purchased three other vehicles in that time....the service department was always outstanding. It has done a complete 180 since 2012.The Foreman is the only person that I have meet in the service department that has any kind of customer service skills, and really understood my frustration. I am confident that with the Foreman overseeing everything the next time, my heat will return. More
DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP FOR ANYTHING!!! I was charged $312 for an estimate and quoted $3720.77 for the repair. They offered me just $500 towards a vehicle on the lot. Not trusting Papa's Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Dealership, I had my Jeep Liberty Limited towed to an honest facility and they received it with the engine disassembled and parts missing. The complete cost for repairing my Jeep, including reassembling the engine, replacing missing parts and a tune-up was $480.95, by this repair station. The mechanic informed me that Papa's Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Dealership wanted to do unnecessary repairs on my vehicle and were being dishonest. I believe Papa's Dealership wanted to make me feel my Jeep was worthless, hoping I would purchase one of their vehicles and then they would turn around a make a bundle on my Jeep. If not, they would be literally stealing almost $4000 from me for the bogus repair. Either way, I would come out as the loser. After sending proof to Papa's, they would not refund my inflated estimate charge and sent no apology for lying to me. They did send me a lame $139.35 to cover missing parts; which they probably felt their hands were tied on or I could have pressed theft charges. Also, as far as their customer service goes, I was not treated nicely until I agreed to let them do the $312 estimate, which is the most ridiculous charge I've ever heard of for a repair estimate. They claimed it was necessary to diagnose the problem. All I got for that money was a big FAT LIE and five days without the use of my vehicle. Papa's Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Dealership is the WORST business I've ever had the unfortunate opportunity to deal with and what they are doing to customers is illegal and they should be closed down!!! Dateline could have a field day doing a report on them. More

I explained the problem in detail when i made the appt. The next morning at 9:30 Pauline calls me to find out the problem...sooo my car still wasnt looked at. I explained again, told her i had an extended warranty and the info should be in my file. I located my warranty info and 1/2 hr later i called... it just rang and rang.....the operater comes on and she rings the service dept again....rang and rang...she comes back on and says "they must be busy"...she took a message and said she would have someone call me....nobody did...by 2pm i still hadnt heard from anyone. I called again for a status on my car., finally got Pauline, she tells me she hasnt heard or received any updates....then she looks in the computer and see's notes from the technician that the car needs a master switch for the window...i ask, will it be fixed today? Her responce was..."I dont know, he has to call around for prices on the part"...i asked, will someone call the let me know?..."yes"....by 4pm still no call...my son had to pick me up at work and drive me down there....i go up to the desk and she tells me, i just got off the phone with warranty co and they approved a rental car because we cant get the part till tommorow....Really? it took all day for this?? Ok, fine i get the rental car and was informed the part would be there first thing in the morning....Day 2.....12pm....still no call....again i call at 2pm and ask about the status of the repair....Pauline tells me...."im faxing the paperwork to the warranty co, now, the car is fixed, as soon as we get payment i'll let you know'....Are you kidding me?? Your holding my car hostage for pmt when the repair was approved and you know your getting paid?? 4pm, still no call, again i drive down to the dealership......pauline jumps up when she sees me and tells me she just "now" received the pmt....Never in my life with any vehicle that i owned did i have a problem with the warranty, nor have i ever had my car held hostage because of a warranty pmt...How this place gets business is beyond me when they cant answer the phone.....the service rep cant be bothered to call with status....her customer service skills are lacking at the very least....NEVER will i EVER bring my vehicle to Papa's again!! More

Service Dept I just recently had extensive work done on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Having had a bad experience at another Jeep/Chrysler dealership, I was very skeptical.. I definitely will use them again and recommend them for service. Thank you Papa's Dodge! More
