The experience started with a phone call from Tim Sechrest regarding a used vehicle I inquired about the evening before. Tim was very pleasant to work with and answered every question I had about the vehicle including taking the time to go out to the vehicle and check on a few things for me. Tim and I negotiated a price that we both agreed upon and there was no back and forth haggling like most dealerships will do. Due to this vehicle being the best price and condition I had found for an almost new vehicle I was set to drive the 200 mile trip the next day to purchase the vehicle. Tim stated he would have the vehicle detailed and filled up with gas and would be ready to go when I got there the next morning. Tim called me back that evening and told me about a door ding he found while giving it a final look over. Being that it was a Friday evening before a holiday weekend Tim explained he did not have anyone in the body shop that would be able to fix the door ding. As you would expect I was not very excited about this and told Tim I would have to think about it. Tim truly expressed his apologies and I was appreciative that he called before I drove 200 miles and then discovered this. Tim then called me back within the hour and told me he had found someone in the body shop that was able to work on the door ding. After an hour or two Tim called back and apologized that the door ding was not repairable with paintless dent repair and did not pressure me to still come. I decided to hold off on getting the vehicle due to the fact that I had no idea what it might cost to repair the door ding the conventional way. Tim called the next morning and explained to me that he had a meeting with the general sales manager and they agreed to lower the price where it would be reasonable to have the door ding fixed the conventional way. By this time I knew what it would cost and they were right on target. I then drove to Plano to purchase the vehicle. Once I got there the vehicle was exactly what I expected and Tim had described it to a "T". After purchasing the vehicle the awesome experience continued with the staff at David McDavid Acura including Matt with the purchase paperwork. I also met Tim's boss Joe Garcia who Tim had the meeting with that morning about everything. Joe was also very pleasant and could not have been more thankful for everyone able to work out the purchase of the vehicle. Thanks to everyone at David McDavid Aucra in Plano, Texas for our used almost new 2016 Explorer! More

Great cars, Great prices, Great people I've been searching for a used RDX for several months. I called David McDavid about an RDX on their web site and was connected to Mike Maulsby. The car buying process could hardly have gone better. Mike was extremely helpful and was excellent at following up and providing information we'd requested. And the best thing about Mike: no pressure to buy - just a "let me know how else I can help" attitude. Since we were from out of town, we had to trust that the information Mike and the dealership provided was accurate. We flew in and were picked up at the airport by Mike and taken to the dealership. The car was just as he described it and was exactly what we were looking for. We were introduced to several of the staff at David McDavid and were impressed with everyone we met. The only thing that could have gone smoother was the paperwork process. As luck would have it, they had sold 3 other cars that morning before we got there so there was a little wait getting to the Business Office (from the dealership standpoint, a great problem to have!). I've had several follow up calls from Mike and the dealership after the purchase and we couldn't be more pleased with our RDX. Great job David McDavid Acura and especially Mike! More
