Pleasant No Hassle Experience Car shopping is normally a stressful and dreadful experience. I'm a straight shooter and hate to play those back and forth games. I just purchased my new Acura TLX with the Advance package from Harsh Patel. Working with Harsh was great. He is extremely knowledgeable on all of the complicated technological features. He also has a great personality. No pressure at all and very friendly and patient. I also worked with Ankur on my trade-in. He was great to work with as well. I felt that I received a fair price for both the car and the trade-in. Lastly, I worked with Giles on the financing. Giles was great to work with as well. Again, no pressure and he was extremely efficient with completing the huge stack of forms typical of the car buying process. I normally would spend at least an extra hour in that final stage of the process. I also briefly met with Jennifer from Service who was nice as well. Sylvester was shadowing Harsh and was nice as well. All in all a very good experience. More

When I got here, the atmosphere was very different. Theiir balance between friendliness, courtesy and professionalism was what sold me. I did not even have to bargain for long as I knew I was getting the best deal. I will definitely recommend this dealership and Mr Denis Joseph especially, to anyone looking to purchase a new car. I liked his honesty on the car, pros and cons etc. he was honest about everything. I am indeed very happy with my 2015 TLX. More

We bought the car yesterday and today they're going to pick it up from wife's work to do some additional detail work (since we came in late last night) and then bring back to her work, which was a cool thing to do. I also like that they didn't push hard to upsell special coverage to us, they just gave us options and let us decide. They also were priced very competitively and worked with us a little to enable us to take the car home that day. Jeff the business manager was like a financing ninja, we could tell he really knew his job. Anyway, good experience and I'd recommend checking them out. More

Preowned Purchase After driving several hours to McDavid's, we were met by Tim Sechrest on the sales floor. Tim had the preowned Honda out and ready for inspection. As my wife and I examined the car inside and out, Tim stood by quietly only to answer questions without any pressure whatsoever. After giving us plenty of time to look over the car, the three of us took the car for a drive. Again, Tim readily answered any questions we had while demonstrating the controls across the dashboard all the while giving me directions so we wouldn't end up getting stuck in traffic. It was only upon returning to the dealership, did he ask, "How do you like the car?" After making an offer and some negotiating, we settled upon an agreed price. We really appreciated Tim's "no pressure" very professional style of "selling". He then arranged for us to meet with Jeff Hall, the business manager, to do the paperwork for payment. Again, our experience with Jeff, as with Tim, was very pleasant and simple. He very adequately explained all the paperwork we were filling out. Even though he offered us an extended service contract, there was absolutely no pressure to buy. At no time did he make us feel hurried though it was getting late. This turned out to be the most pleasant car-buying experience we've ever had. Other dealers could take a lesson from these two gentlemen at McDavid's. More

I have always been a Toyota purchaser and we had been looking at a Lexus 350 the day before. My wife and I thought we would look at some other cars and about 8 o'clock the next evening we looked at preowned Acuras at David McDavid's. We happened to meet their sales consultant Amir Hazrati who was very professional and explained to us the qualities of the Acuras. What we liked about Amir was the easy manner in which he worked with us. There were no high pressure sales techniques or rush to sell us a car and we appreciated that. He acted more as a consultant then a salesman. He also told us that if we were interested in a vehicle we could test drive it for half a day and return the car before closing. This proved to us that he had enough confidence in his product to let us really try it out before we decided any purchase. He instilled our trust and confidence in the dealership that we felt that if we purchased a car we could rely on Acura of Plano to stand by their service.
