We could not be more pleased with our 'new' pre-owned Certified Acura! We were also looking at new cars of other makes and models, but we kept going back to David McDavid Acura. The main reason we kept going back was how much we enjoyed working with John Vakili. Unlike most 'salesmen', John did not pressure or make us feel smothered. He was knowledgeable, friendly, available, and just gave us such a nice all-around experience on what can be a stressful search for a car. He took us out several times in the same car and never lost patience with us for just 'one more drive'. We love our new Acura, and we highly recommend John for anyone searching for a new car. More
I brought my 2009 TL SHAWD in for an oil change and warranty service. I was provided a loaner vehicle because they needed to keep my car overnight and test drive it. We had previously read reviews about McDavid Acura online and saw a few bad reviews so we chose McDavid to go and get some information about leasing vs. buying a used car since we were convinced that their c and saw a few bad reviews so we chose McDavid to go and get some information about leasing vs. buying a used car since we were convinced that their customer service was going to be so bad that we would never buy from them. THEN, we met Tony Vester. Tony, was very knowledgeable and spoke freely about the pros and cons of each one of our options. Tony's upfront honesty and transparency is what sold us. We didn't intend on buying a vehicle, we were just starting our search and were planning on visiting a few other Acura dealerships for the best bang for our buck. Tony and team were excellent and providing the excellent customer service that we have become accustomed to dealing with Acura. I would definitely suggest anyone interested in buying a car to go see Tony and the team at McDavid Acura in Plano! Make sure you also try the good tea/coffee in the waiting room! (inside joke). More

I recently noticed an issue with my vehicle, and decided it was time to set up needed/chosen my primary Acura Dealership for my car's service needs. I recently noticed an issue with my vehicle, and decided it was time to set up a service appointment. I searched for the Acura dealerships closest to me, read reviews, and chose David McDavid Acura in Plano since everything I read were very positive experiences. As soon as I called, I knew I made the right decision. I was promptly greeted, asked what my needs were, and quickly directed to a wonderful service consultant. Jason Roberts is the gentleman who I dealt with and I must say he is very knowledgeable and has a great personality and "here to help" attitude. He listened to my concerns, explained my options, and recommended the steps for me to take in order to have my issue resolved. I called on a Friday, and he had my appointment set for Monday morning. Everything was in such GREAT order, I was very satisified. All throughout my service experience I was kept up to date and was informed of my vehicle's status. Jason called to tell me his technician found other issues in addition to the original reason I went in and had those taken care of also. Since my warranty was going to cover my repairs, he made to sure everything being repaired was covered. What wasn't covered, he informed me of also. At the end of the day, my vehicle pick up went as smoothly as my drop off, and was greeted by Jason himself. He summarized the day's activities, had me sign for my car, and sent me home with my checklist to review. I loved my very first experience at David McDavid Acura! More
My husband and I had a great experience working with Tim Sechrest. We had been searching for a used car that we could purchase as a cash deal. I came across a listing on Autotrader.com for used 2003 Acura T Sechrest. We had been searching for a used car that we could purchase as a cash deal. I came across a listing on Autotrader.com for used 2003 Acura TL. I sent an email inquiry about the car on a Saturday evening. I received a response from Tim within 30 minutes. We arranged to go see the car on the following Monday. We were scheduled to go see the car between 12 and 1 pm but we decided to head there early. On the way there, I noticed I had an email from Tim confirming that we were still coming. When we arrived, Tim greeted us and was very pleasant. He noticed that car had already been pulled up and went to find out if another salesman was showing the car. He returned and informed us that another salesman was actually showing the car to another customer. Of course we were disappointed to learn this. He did tell us that the customer in question had been there several times to look at cars and assured us that we would know whether they were going to purchase the car within the next 5-10 minutes. We waited and about 10 minutes later, we saw that customer walk out the door. Tim brought us the keys and told us it was all ours. We checked out the car and prepared to go for the test drive. As he backed the car out, he realized that the A/C would not come on. This could have easily been a deal breaker for us since we're preparing for our Texas summer. Before we left for the test drive, he checked with his manager and came back to tell us that the A/C issue would definitely be repaired. He was straight-forward about history of the car as we discussed the Carfax. He did tell us that other inquiries had been received on the car (which we believed because it was priced to sell). He wasn't trying to pressure us to make a decision and he made the experience very easy. We put down a deposit that same day and Tim explained that the car would be ready for pick-up by Wednesday after the service was completed. He called Tuesday evening to provide an update. He stated that the service had been completed, the A/C was working, and mentioned that they took care of some minor touch paint and dents. This definitely impressed us as we were not expecting this at all. He told us the car would be detailed the following morning and that we could come pick it up any time before Friday. I called him the next morning to confirm our pick-up time for later that day. He shared with me that he personally checked the A/C and it was blowing cold. We went to pick up the car and completed all the final paperwork. As Tim was giving us the keys, he shared that the service team had put two new tires of the front. Again, total shock to us. Tim definitely takes great care of his customers. He even made sure he engaged our 15 month old son who was with us on both visits. Based on our experience working with Tim, I would highly recommend him and David McDavid Acura. More

There were a few instance where I wanted to ask a question, and before I could ask he would actually address the issue. He made sure I had all the info I needed, and helped me close the deal for an Acura RDX 2013. Couldn't be any more happier. When he demo-ed all the features of the car, or when I first test-drove the RDX; the way he walks you through the whole process is very methodic and doesn't try to rush you through anything at all. Couldn't ask for more. At the financing stage; Salim Pirbhai locked the whole thing for us. With a few friendly suggestions, he definitely made it a much more cleaner process for us. He helped us add a few options and bring the whole thing under our budget control and did everything he could to keep us on track. I couldn't have asked for a better experience of buying my first car. Salim Pirbhai simply is the best in the business. More

He was the only salesperson who took the time to walk us through the vehicle features/benefits entirely before we ever took the car off the lot. With the other dealerships, we had to ask questions about the car and only while driving. The sales folks didn't seem especially knowledgeable about the car or it's competition. We felt we had so much more information after working with Denis. More
