However, my visit with Tim Sechrest and Salim Pirbhai was extremely friendly with great service. Tim was very straightforward, and helpful. Salim went above and beyond to get me an amazing financing deal, and low interest rate. He kept on working to get me the best deal, and I was very appreciative of his efforts. I was a first time car buyer, and I don't think I could have picked a better experience besides the David McDavid way. I visited the dealership about 5 months prior and spoke with Tony. He was so helpful, not pushy at all....gave me a lot of information and told me things I needed to know regarding my situation. Nothing against Tony, but I did visit another dealership...and I promise I received the pushiest sales person on their staff. When I left that dealership, I knew I was going to buy a car from Tony. This guy called me non-stop until I told him I purchased the car from another dealership (keep in mind I told him this before I had even made my purchase). Meanwhile, I would get "friendly" not "sales" emails from David McDavid. Once I was ready and contacted Tony. I completed the credit app online and emailed all needed documentation and did not come into the dealership until it was time to sign paperwork. As Salim worked diligently to get me the best deal and the best rate, he and Tony called me throughout the week to let me know the status. I loved that! Salim called me initially and told me the interest rate that he had so far (it was high...keep in mind, I am a first time buyer that does not have a lot of credit), he told me he will try to get better. We spoke a couple times afterwards, each time the interest rate was better. By the time I signed my paperwork, my interest rate was over 13% less than the initial rate he told me. When someone put in the time and effort, you have to appreciate that as a customer. When it was time to go into financing Giles Wilson was great! I came in on Saturday and already filled out all the paper work for the car. But I was not able to take the car home that day. When I came in on Tuesday to pick up my car Giles found me a better APR with another bank. That made my day!! He made my buying expierence go very smooth and I became less stressed out. I didn't want to shelve out a huge down payment or settle for an APR that couldn't manage. Having considered all these factors, a brand new Acura seemed like a distant dream. Now that, I am writing this review makes it obvious that I am a proud owner of a brand new Acura and was able to manage my constraints and get the best possible deal. Matthew Oravetz and Salim Pirbhai are probably the best in their business (At least, that's what I feel after visiting more than five dealerships (Acura/ Non-Acura) based out of Dallas.) I believe I was informed on all the possible options and they didn't hesitate to walk me through the options again and again. When it finally came down to the point of purchasing a car, I am certain I was an informed customer.
