I typically take my TL to David McDavid Plano for service (I also purchased it there). This is the second time that I have worked with Tony Fontana. I brought my car in to fix three rattles / noises coming (I also purchased it there). This is the second time that I have worked with Tony Fontana. I brought my car in to fix three rattles / noises coming from the cabin and sunroof. Most people would not notice the sounds, and if they did, would most likely not pay attention to them. However, I am hyper sensitive / OCD about rattles. When we test drove the car to identity the noises so they could be fixed, only one of the three made the noise. Most service technicians would disregard the complaint and give you the basic "If we can't hear it, we can't fix it." I understand that, but you have to make an honest effort to duplicate the sounds and fix them. Tony did take the time to fix them. It took several days, but all of the random noises that I obsess about are gone. This is the kind of service I expect from an Acura dealership. By the way, I have also worked with other service techs at that dealership. They are all good. However, I feel that Tony goes above and beyond to address customer complaints. - Jason More
It was a process to purchase my ILX. But in the long run it worked out and I would give Ikechukwu (IKE) an A+ he always responded and was very nice Tony was there to assist and did great also. I was very pleased with my experience at David McDavid Acura. I had been to another dealership in the area prior to my visit and was very disappointed with their service. Needless to say, I did not have h Acura. I had been to another dealership in the area prior to my visit and was very disappointed with their service. Needless to say, I did not have high hopes for my next experience, but Dan and the guys at David McDavid made my first car buying experience a wonderful one. I cannot begin to explain how friendly and upfront everyone was and I would recommend them to anyone. I know that I will continue to be a loyal customer to David McDavid Acura for a long time. If you think Plano is too far away, don't! It is well worth the drive and I assure you that you will not regret it! More
Called and spoke to the salesman(Tim Sechrest) on a used prius they had listed ..Agreed on the selling price over the phone and i told Tim that The funding would be done with my leasing company and tried to prius they had listed ..Agreed on the selling price over the phone and i told Tim that The funding would be done with my leasing company and tried to give them all the info. on the leasing company so the could call and get the paper work in order... we buy cars for our company every year in the same manner.... he said that i still had to come in ..which i did ..nothing was done when i got there and he passed me to Sotero Napoles and i had to waste 2 hours .....by this time the leasing company in the east coast was closed.....Now they wanted my to fill a credit app...which i didn't need or wanted to do and have a hard hit on my credit files...the car was going bo leased in the company name.... they could NOT grasp that concept... worst car buying experience EVER...... NOT sure how the manager to stay in business.. More

I was promised loaner cars for service. One of the reasons that made the deal was just this. Sales Manager was involved and also mentioned the loaner cars. Seems only care about 'the sale' and make their numbers, not customer service. More
My neighbor bought his CPO Acura from David McDavid, so when we were looking to replace my wife's Accord with an used Acura TL, I felt comfortable giving them a try. I found a CPO TL at the dealership, and then I contacted them via their website, I got lucky that I was contacted by John Clarke - he responded quickly to my inquiry, was flexible to meet with my and my wife, help us arrange two test drives, and helped us get an excellent appraisal on our Accord, which made the deal with the CPO TL meet our financial needs. Overall this was a smooth, no pressure experience, and I will definitely contact John next time I need an Acura in the DFW area. More
We were initially going to buy from Goodson in Dallas until they quoted us the price they would give us for our trade (knowing before hand that we were leasing our trade and could get rid of it ourselves until they quoted us the price they would give us for our trade (knowing before hand that we were leasing our trade and could get rid of it ourselves) and the price of the same car we purchased from Mr. MacCormick. Mr.MacCormick knew we could get rid of our trade and he let us know, with out insulting us, that he couldn't give us what we needed to get out of our lease. And that was fine....He also worked with us to get the price we wanted to pay for the vehicle we purchased. Mr. MacCormick went over everything on delivery. I am very pleased with our purchase and so is my husband. We will recommend this dealership to everyone we know and purchase our next vehicle from them as well.
