Took my car in because the check engine light came on. I figured it was due to a recall letter I got on my car a few weeks prior. My car sounded awful. Of course it wasn't and it cost almost 700 dollars to figured it was due to a recall letter I got on my car a few weeks prior. My car sounded awful. Of course it wasn't and it cost almost 700 dollars to fix something leaking and replace a knock sensor. When I picked my car it still sounded awful. And driving home the check engine light came back on. I took it to Auto Zone to read the engine code and it was for the knock sensor.....I called and got it scheduled to go back. Then they kept my car from Wednesday until Monday before telling me I needed a new engine for over 7000 dollars! I said No and got my car and currently have someone else looking at it. Never going back. Didn't even fix what they charged me for the first time. More

Yesterday I brought my Chevy Traverse in for an oil change. I was reminded (again) that I needed the transmission fluid changed (because it hasn't every been done).
