Serious lack of service knowledge I typically have my 2016 Highlander serviced at Toyota of Plano and after my experience at Pat Lobb Toyota, I will only have service done there. My car battery died and I made an appointment to have it replaced at Pat Lobb Toyota. The battery died again in the service line and the employees made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience. I had an appointment for the battery replacement and for the front passenger side window which would not stay fully rolled up. My service advisor told me that they could replace the battery in my car that day but would have to leave the car for them to examine the window. As it turned out, due the weekend and holiday, they would have needed me to leave my car for 4-5 days. No one told me that as I scheduled my appointment. Further, they shared that no one could even look at the window that day and that it would cost $150 to have them "diagnose" the problem even though the car is under warranty. I told them that I thought the window was related to the battery as it occurred directly after the battery died and was boosted. They did not listen to me and said they spoke with a manager who agreed with them. I was furious and left. I made an appointment at Toyota of Plano. When I went, the service advisor there knew immediately that the window glitch was a result of the battery and it required a 10-second reboot (via the car radio) to fix. They rebooted the system and all was fixed IN TEN SECONDS. Pat Lobb Toyota has lost my business forever. More

Beware of Making on line Appointments "Lost" my appointment in the system. Told me I could walk in and maybe get fit in between other appointments. Service of my 2001 Avalon I have been going to Pat Lobb Toyota Dealership in McKinney, Tx since moving here in October 2013 for service of both my vehicles, a 2000 4 x 4 Tundra I have been going to Pat Lobb Toyota Dealership in McKinney, Tx since moving here in October 2013 for service of both my vehicles, a 2000 4 x 4 Tundra Extended Cab and 2001 XLS Avalon. I bought them new and maintain them in new mint condition. I interviewed with Assistant Service Manager, Doug Ranzer and Senior Technician, Jeff Colefield before selecting them as the personnel to handle and always work on my vehicles. Love and totally trust them in caring for my vehicles. I just had both CVR Boots and one engine mount repaired on my 2001 Avalon (first time ever needed these repairs) when I immediately noticed leaking fluid. My team, Doug Ranzer and Jeff Colefield corrected the problem swiftly and accurately keeping my car in pristine condition. Doug made sure as always that I got a reasonable discount for being a loyal and committed customer. I really appreciate ethical and honest people like this at a car dealership.
