Worst Manager - He disgraces Patt Lobb I requested information online on a vehicle I was interested in then I received a call from an internet sales rep who took all of my information, what I requested information online on a vehicle I was interested in then I received a call from an internet sales rep who took all of my information, what I was looking for, my budget, my trade info ect. I was then referred to Shaun Anderson because he was going to review all the info I sent over on my trade in and call me back with a estimate. He NEVER called back. I then called Pat Lobb and was given to another sales rep who asked for all the same info I had already provided. I again, gave all then info which both times I told them that I had just purchased one vehicle less than a year ago from Buck and wanted to work with him. Finally the director James Brown got involved after about 10 phone calls and a lot of wasted time and made sure Buck was working with me as I requested the very first call. I ended up purchasing a vehicle from Buck and everything seemed to be working out until right before I signed the paperwork I noticed a dent in the roof. Buck asked Shaun to look it over and fix it. Shaun agreed to do so and he would call to schedule a time for me to bring the vehicle up there. Shaun never called! After 3 emails and 4 phone calls (which several he stated he would call back and NEVER did) I finally had arranged a time to take my vehicle to Pat Lobb. I was told by Shaun a vehicle of equal or more value would be waiting on me and that he would make sure mats were installed as well as my tags and it would take two days. I go to Pat Lobb to drop my SUV off and guess what..... No vehicle was arranged for me to take, no one knew I was coming or what service I needed and Shaun had already left for the day! After a lot of wasted time and re-explaining over and over what I needed, who I talked to, ect I was given a old POS vehicle to drive that sounded like the engine was going to explode. I was again told it would take 2 days and I would get a call when it was ready. Day 2 came around and no call from Shaun so I call him. He gives me every excuse he can think of as to why things weren't done. He is a manager and I expected he would just own up to the fact that he dropped the ball rather than make excuses but no. He then tells me he is just waiting for it to be detailed then he will get the keys and call me. Did he call? Of course NOT! Day 4 comes around and I call the service department to see if my vehicle is ready and I am told "yes, it's been ready". So again Shaun didn't call me. I ask her to confirm if everything is completed before I drive all the way up there and she can only confirm one of the three things being completed and tells me I need to speak with Shaun to confirm. I refused then ask to speak with a manager and I'm told Shaun is a manager so I say never mind. I called James Brown and had to leave a message then I called Buck to see if he would take the time to straighten this all out. He promises to do so. I'm not on my way to Pat Lobb to get my vehicle however based on everything that's happened I guarantee when I get there that there will be problems. I almost want to just tell them to keep it and refund my money. It's sad when you spend over $30K on a vehicle and are treated so poorly. More

I had brought my Camry in for an oil change and to check out a vibration when applying brakes. It was determined that my rotors need to be turned which was priced at $220. This is what a brake job cost yet out a vibration when applying brakes. It was determined that my rotors need to be turned which was priced at $220. This is what a brake job cost yet I didn't have my brake pads replaced. I thought highly of this dealership until now and now will only get my oil changes here but take any service work to another Toyota store. Very disappointed. More
4 years ago I went to Patt Lobb in mckinney and I bought a used Toyota tundra with only 24300 miles on it. it was a fair price but like a sucker I succumbed to the "you need to buy the " 6 Year " 100 k mile a used Toyota tundra with only 24300 miles on it. it was a fair price but like a sucker I succumbed to the "you need to buy the " 6 Year " 100 k mile warranty. I was told it would cover prematurely worn tires, chipped glass, ... shortly thereafter I went in because 2 of the tires were worn out at 31k miles. I was told this wasn't covered because the previous owner had not had the tires rotated by a Toyota dealer every 5k miles. aggravated but stuff happens. yesterday I took my truck in at 99457 miles. about 500 before the 6 year 100k warranty was to expire, I was willing to pay them to look for anything that should be covered by the warranty and I was told my 6 year warranty had expired in 12 of 2012. the 6 year warranty didn't start when I bought it but when the vehicle first went into service. had I been told my 6 year warranty was actually a 3 year warranty I would never have spent over 1600 dollars on the xxxx thing. the credit managers comment? "im sorry that wasn't explained to you, I wasn't here at the time." Though I understood the warranty was till 100 k, I did not realize that if I bought a 3 year old truck and I bought a 6 year warranty its only good for three years. That’s a huge item people need to know. More
I unfortunately own a 2007 Camry XLE which now miraculously has 128,000 miles on it. I have had issues with it since the day I bought it as documented by Pat Lobb Toyota. Beyond the multiple rec miraculously has 128,000 miles on it. I have had issues with it since the day I bought it as documented by Pat Lobb Toyota. Beyond the multiple recalls and "extended, extended warranties" they've issued on parts like their clip-on visors and gas pedals, I have had a transmission issue (hard shifting) and a suspension issue which causes the tires to wear unevenly, what they call scalloping or feathering. This only happens in the rear. I'm about to put on my 6th set of tires. Toyota replaced a strut at about 27000 miles and replaced the tires the first 3 times under warranty. Each time claiming they wear in that manner because the tires were "soft, touring" tires. Now sludge has covered my motor. They tell me it needs to me rebuilt or replaced. No other options. Why sludge in the motor? According to Toyota records, they changed my oil every 5000 miles. But for the last 18 months, since they don't have records of oil changes, I must not have been changing oil every 5000 miles which Arik, their Director of Service, adamantly claims will ruin your engine. Never mind that I now find out that Toyota Camrys and Highlanders have serious design flaws involving the PVC valve which make them very sludge-prone. 4 years later all I get regarding the suspension and transmission problem is excuses and blank stares. He tells me that smoke pouring out my exhaust is NORMAL if you don't change oil every 5000 miles ( not 5500 or 6000 miles). I kept waiting for Pat Lobb Toyota to offer me something to show they were willing to be at least SLIGHTLY ACCOUNTABLE for all the issues I've had with their product (transmission, visors, recalls, extended warranties, sludge, suspension, 3 ignition coils, tires, ....). Sadly, they offered nothing but blame and excuses. More
Charles was so helpful. He went out of his way to make sure he fixed my car while the warranty office was still open. I know this was a pain since he only had a short window with it being a Saturday. I went for my 30,000 miles check up, oil change.Stepped outside to just look at he cars and Amanda approached me and said they had some great deals going on. Just her infectious smile alone made you trust outside to just look at he cars and Amanda approached me and said they had some great deals going on. Just her infectious smile alone made you trust her. I told her that I was here for an oil change, well she talked me into going for a test drive. And due to my credit score being better than 3 years ago, she told me they could lower my payments, which was very appealing. Very pleasant young lady, friendly, honest and sat down with Spike and he asked me what exactly I was looking to pay. Between them I was signing papers. Final visit with Chris- I was also looking for an extended warranty/ road assistance- well he dug in a little bit- and got me this great deal not really affecting the payment i wanted. this is my 2nd car i have bought from Pat Lobb- I have the option to go 5 minutes away from my house to Plano Toyota for services- i choose to drive 1/2 hour to Patt Lobb. I truly trust them- everyone is friendly, acknowledges you to see if you need any help, and I just feel comfortable goin there. Amanda was there till I exchanged my car belongings, and she even helped me transfer my trunk belongings. Which I thought was very nice. We did not leave with a hand shake, I gave her a hug. I would recommend Patt Lobb to everyone and anyone. My experinces there have been nothing but the best- even passer by will ask if you'd like something to drink. Very family oriented, caring people and going out of their way for everyone. More
