Pleasant experience buying a preowned Forester I recently found a 2014 Forester Limited with a very reasonable listing price on Patriot Subaru's website. I called and spoke with Salesman Rene Bour I recently found a 2014 Forester Limited with a very reasonable listing price on Patriot Subaru's website. I called and spoke with Salesman Rene Bournigal, who reviewed the history of this SUV in detail. Besides having a wonderful disposition and sense of humor, Rene is also straightforward and assuring, without exerting sales pressure. He willingly researched details of the service records to get answers to my questions. We met the next day and, after the test drive, I purchased it. I highly recommend that you connect with Rene if you're considering buying a new or preowned Subaru from Patriot. His fellow coworkers were also friendly and helpful, especially Sales managers Derek and Robert, and Max in Finance. FYI: Patriot's "Upfront Pricing" policy leaves little room for negotiation, but this Forester's listed price was below both KBB and Edmunds' retail value, and similar SUVs available at other dealerships.
