Advertised price on Peddler web site and all used car sites $13,932. Price when I went to purchase the vehicle two days later $18,044 plus miscellaneous fees and taxes for a total price of $28,392.97!!! sites $13,932. I called the dealer about my interest in a new vehicle. I asked them about any "market adjustments" and required addons they had. I was told there were none. When I arrived, the test drive went well and I asked them about any "market adjustments" and required addons they had. I was told there were none. When I arrived, the test drive went well and the representative was very knowledgeable about the car. So far so good. I decided I liked the car (the same vehicle I called about the day before) and when we sat down to discuss price. I was given a paper that showed over $10k above sticker, between a simple markup of $8000 and approximately $2000 in scam add-ons, including $500 for nitrogen tires (the air you breathe is 80% nitrogen) and $800 for fabric protection. These add-ons are not optional and will do nothing except line the pockets of the dealer. DO NOT shop at this dealer, do not buy from them. They will rip you off and have no interest in an honest sales experience. More

I Just recently when to purchase a car from Pedder. I called on the phone and asked if they markup manufacture prices and they said NO. When we looked at the car the price on the car did not reflect ex I called on the phone and asked if they markup manufacture prices and they said NO. When we looked at the car the price on the car did not reflect extras. After test driving the car they presented a price sheet with a markup and over $2300 of overpriced extras to include Alarm ($995), Nitrogen filled tires ($495) , and paint/fabric protection ($895). They said these are all required to buy the car and NOT optional. This dealer will rip you off. They are NOT up front and honest. They are out to make as much money on the sale at your expense and sell you unnecessary items. More

I have been trying for over three years to get a second key for my Sonata. I had to pay up front for it special order is what Nolie claimed. Pedder Hyundai left us high and dry with a Sonata engine maintenance issue. Our Hyundai Sonata is burning oil rapidly and after negotiating with corporate they agreed to do a diagnosis. They filled up the o maintenance issue. Our Hyundai Sonata is burning oil rapidly and after negotiating with corporate they agreed to do a diagnosis. They filled up the oil and told us to drive it 1k miles. When we called for the follow up appointment they told us that they were no longer authorized to do any Hyundai service as they were no longer certified by corporate. Hyundai Corp. is run so poorly that we can't just take the car to another service dealership, we have to start the test all over again INCLUDING the time required to get corporate approval again! I will never go to Pedder Hyundai again and I'm very unimpressed with how disorganized Hyundai corporate is. This should have been easily transferred to Hyundai Escondido or Kearny Mesa. More

Dishonest Service- Stay away. Technician ( Dan) on phone told me the problem I described on my 2012 Sonata (brake lights wouldn't turn off and car wouldnt accelerate properly) would take one day to diagnos told me the problem I described on my 2012 Sonata (brake lights wouldn't turn off and car wouldnt accelerate properly) would take one day to diagnose. He even told me he'd drive me to Enterprise to rent a car. Researched on internet and found it was a known recall which service failed to mention and my husband whose not a mechanic fixed it in 10 minutes with 10 dollar part from Amazon. Should have been performed at dealer for free, but at least didnt give them a day to rip me off. More
