Went for oil change and left with blown engine Claimed a oil filter issue caused all the oil to leak out and turn my engine to scrap in minutes. Every one thought they left the old gasket on even the other workers. So my 11 month old car is junk. Can’t even change oil not sure I would trust their service. Then when they heard the engine clunking as I turned right back around with oil all over they thought adding new oil and a filter would help, it had no oil left it was gone!. What a joke, you would expect better from a dealer. They even thought it was fine and I pointed out it still sounded like a diesel truck running. The most pathetic service ever and no one was there to handle it besides service writers. They offered me 2 free oil changes oh ok I’ll come right back for those so you can blow up my new car too. You think they would make sure it was not leaking like I learned in high school auto class and common sense. Sad thing was I didn’t even get a refund. Adam was there and he ignored the situation just turned around and didn’t look whenever I saw him. Good thing mike mahers stepped up to make this right. More

Excellent experience - Bought a 2020 Santa Fe I started out my car buying day with a bad experience at Hawkinson Kia in Matteson, IL. Hawkinson made me wait hours to test drive a Sorento that I f I started out my car buying day with a bad experience at Hawkinson Kia in Matteson, IL. Hawkinson made me wait hours to test drive a Sorento that I found on their web site. It turned out the Sorento was a demo with 5,700 miles on it, which was not disclosed on their web site. Hawkinson then tried to charge me $10,000 more than the advertised internet sale price. I walked out of Hawkinson very displeased and was ready to call it a day, but decided to check out Phillips Hyundai, which was 20 miles down the interstate. The prior evening I spoke with Phillips Hyundai's internet sales employee, Ashlyn Villarreal, regarding a vehicle advertised on Phillips' web site. She was friendly, polite and informative. When I arrived at Phillips Ashlyn was unavailable, so I was helped by Salesperson, Ernie Hampton, who was polite, friendly, professional and straightforward. Ernie quickly determined that a vehicle that interested me on Phillips Hyundai's web site had recently been sold. As we chatted Ernie pulled up Phillips Hyundai's web site (with the advertised internet sale prices) and we checked out a 2020 Santa Fe Limited that interested me. Ernie located it and determined it was being driven as a demo (1,600 miles) by a Phillips employee, but I decided to test drive it anyway. I really liked the Santa Fe and was interested in buying it. Ernie informed me that Phillips did not discount cars for being demos until they passed 2,000 miles, but he located a 2020 Santa Fe Limited that was a new arrival (same color, same equipment), so I bought it. The whole process took just a bit over an hour. My wife and I went to Phillips the next day to pick up and pay for the vehicle. We dealt with Business Manager, Barth Eastman, who was also friendly, polite and professional. He fully and simply explained the all of the sales paperwork and made the execution paperwork quick and painless. I highly recommend Phillips Hyundai and their polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional employees. I enjoyed my experience there. More
