Frustrating buying experience I went to Tom Denchel to replace my pickup. I communicated to the salesmen on multiple occasions that I was looking for a reliable pickup that I would I went to Tom Denchel to replace my pickup. I communicated to the salesmen on multiple occasions that I was looking for a reliable pickup that I wouldn't have to put much money in to as I don't put a lot of mileage on my vehicle. They directed me to 09 Dodge Ram. The vehicle test drove well and I trusted that the vehicle was in great condition, as this is what the salesman said..and the price I paid. I had not driven 500 miles before the check engine light came on. I took it in to the dealer mechanics and was told that I needed a new water pump, thermostat, and spark plugs- $1K. I called the sales department at Tom Denchel and asked if they could help with this repair given the circumstances. The salesman said he would check with his supervisor and I never heard from him again. So, $1000 and less than a few weeks later the check engine light is back on. I am beyond frustrated and feel taken advantage of. Also, when I checked my glove box they had left all of the previous owners personal documents in there. My experience leads me to believe that either they are incompetent or untrustworthy, but I would never recommend Tom Denchel Ford. I gave them a chance to make things right by helping with the repair and they didn't even reach out to me. More
