When my wife and I first entered Pohanka Acura we were immediately met with three (separate) friendly and warm greetings. This was a nice way to begin our quest for a new RDX. There was no pressure whatsover on the part of the sales reps. We came to Pohanka to simply test drive the car and I made a point in stressing this to the sales reps. We test drove the RDX and my wife and I left Pohanka pleased and happy that no one pressured us to sit down and crunch numbers. A few days later, I remembered that I had signed up, via the Internet, with Pohanka Acura a few weeks earlier. This is how I initially came into to contact with Yong Kim. I emailed Yong Kim and received a timely response. At this time it was near the end of May and Pohanka came out with a Memorial Day sale on all 2013 RDXs, with ZERO PERCENT financing. This was music to our ears. I called Yong Kim and had a very nice converstation about the big sales event and attractive financing. Yong Kim was very attenttive to my concerns and needs regarding scheduling a time to come back to Pohanka. Work, family and other obstacles made it difficult for my wife and I to coordinate and find time for both of us to meet with Yong Kim. Once again, Yong Kim was receptive and understood our family-work-scheduling issues and made a point to comfort and calm me by simply telling me that he understood and would wait howver long it took for my call to schedule a time to come in. Yong Kim is an excellent salesman simply because he is confident in himself, is very knowledgeable of his products, and most importantly, understands and caters to the needs of his customers. Friday before Memorial Day, my wife and I made our final trip to Pohanka to meet with Yong Kim to finalize the deal. It should be noted that I was in contact with Yong Kim once before when I came in one day with my eight year old daughter to meet with him face-to-face. He was very nice and even escorted my daughter to get some refreshments. My daughter would never go anywhere without her parents, much less with a complete stranger. My daughter felt comfortable and went with Yong Kim while I was filling out forms. etc. This is an added plus that makes Yong Kim so LIKEABLE and unique. He is very cool, calm, pleasing and a great listener. When my wife and I showed up on Friday,Yong Kim spent more than two hours with my wife and I going over everything about our new RDX. This is my wife's new car and I was somewhat concerned that maybe my wife will not grasp everything. Yong Kim sat in the passenger's front seat along with my wife at the wheel. Yong Kim explained everything from A to Z, including setting up both our cell phones with Blue Tooth. Prior to sitting into our new RDX to listen to Yong Kim's instruction, he carefully went through all of the different pamphlets/manual, the 365 days a year service and conveniently late hours, etc. We drove away with a pleasant and happy feeling. Not only would I recommend Yong Kim to someone else, the next Acura our family buys will definitely be with Yong Kim. Thank you Pohanka and all of your wonderful staff and a special thanks to Yong Kim who made buying a car stress-free and very pleasurable. Keep up the good work.
