Tried calling the service department to ask the price of an oil change for my 2021 Arteon. First attempt as going well until I was transferred to the service department. The phone rang and rang until a recording came on stating the mail box was full and could no longer receive any messages. Second call to the phone number listed on the website. Rang a couple of times until a female answered “Good morning” then line went dead. We have a 2021 Arteon and an 2022 Atlas. Getting ready to trade one or both in but, when you cannot get anyone in the service department to answer a simple question leads me to think on looking at Lexus or Mercedes as they don’t seem to have many complaints on their service departments. I found car buying extremely aggravating this past week. I worked through 5 dealerships and all except one tried to add in extra fees, indicate they had a car when they didn’t or try to get you to buy a 202 I worked through 5 dealerships and all except one tried to add in extra fees, indicate they had a car when they didn’t or try to get you to buy a 2023 when you wanted a 2024. When I explained to Devin smith at Pohanka Salisbury the above issues he put together what I considered a fair deal. I appreciated his professionalism and honesty.
