Very disappointed! We contacted Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg last night via email to check out a Honda Pilot listed as available on the website. Just before lunch today, a salesman, Matt Patterson, sent us a response email stating ‘that vehicle is still available to inspect and test drive.’ After lunch, we spoke with Matt on the phone prior to leaving for the dealership and reminded him of the vehicle we were interested in. He replied that he ‘looked forward to meeting us.’ Unfortunately, when we showed up at the dealership, the problems began. We were asked to wait while Matt went to check on the ‘availability’ of the car. After approximately ten minutes of waiting, he returns to tell us that the Pilot was sold yesterday. Feeling lied to and further annoyed that we were asked to wait for such a time period, we promptly said our goodbyes and dismissed his question of whether he could interest us in any other vehicles on the lot. We are grateful that the wait time provided an opportunity to evaluate the Pohanka sales strategy. Ten minutes wasted up front was better than hours of wasted time had we actually wanted to purchase the Pilot. Examples: Seated at multiple sales desks were weary-looking customers who were waiting longer than us and were checking their watches and exchanging glances, clearly wanting their ordeal to be over. In the waiting area with us, there were many tables of customers waiting for salespersons. From this area, we all watched groups of salespersons strolling throughout the lobby. One lady’s conversation we overheard included the phrase ‘we are still at the dealership’. This dealership looks impressive upon arrival, but it certainly does not treat potential customers with an equal level of customer service. Best advice: Plan to spend an entire day at this dealership and bring a drink, snack, and entertainment. More

This is our second brand new Honda purchase from the Pohanka Fredericksburg within a year. Kingsley privided me with very accurate price quote over the net and his internet sales team provided speedy service/tranaction. I started searching for a new vehicle at the end of 2012 knowing I would not be ready to purchase until now. My husband and I wanted to work with Isaac because we knew him and he has a reputation for outst knowing I would not be ready to purchase until now. My husband and I wanted to work with Isaac because we knew him and he has a reputation for outstanding service. He did not pressure me to purchase before I was ready. I came in back in January to test drive the 2013 Honda Pilot, we discussed the benefits of Honda and he kept in touch with me making sure all of my questions were answered. I actually called Isaac at one point saying I was no longer considering the Pilot because I wanted something larger but then my husband decided to look into a new car and we started spending time at the Honda dealership. While my husband was working out a deal on the 2013 Civic, I kept looking at the Pilot... Taking it on another test drive. Isaac sent me emails comparing the Pilot to other vehicles I was considering and the Pilot was beating the competition in all areas. The day my husband took delivery of his civic, which Isaac sold him, I decided I wanted the Pilot Touring. Fredericksburg Honda did not have the color I wanted in stock but this was no problem, Isaac made sure what I wanted would be on the lot when I got there to sign the papers. He worked out an outstanding price for this vehicle and I could not be happier! I know this vehicle will be reliable for my family and looks amazing inside and out. I will refer anyone to see this salesman at Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg... Myself, my husband and my mother in law had a great experience... Keep up the good work! More
