This was the best dealership I have ever bought a car from. I test drove a few cars with Barbara Barlow at Pohanka about a month before I purchased the new vehicles. I can't stand being hounded like a dog when I am looking on the lot. She came up to me handed me her card. I told her I was just looking and she left. I spent just over an hour on the lot looking on my own and decided to test drive two of the vehicles on the lot. During that time another salesman came up to me and I told him I was working with someone and didn't need his help. That helped a lot as the word got around to all the other sales people and nobody bothered me. I went back to Barabar and gave her the numbers off the windshields of the cars and we drove both vehicles. As I test drove the vehicle we made small talk and she described the vehicle as I drove it. Everything she said I had already read about on line so there was nothing she said that made me question her knowledge about the vehicle. I am skeptical when it comes to a sales person and listn very closely just in case they are making things up as they go. There was none of that with Barabara. When I finished test driving the vehicles I told Barabara I needed some time to think about it and she was very understanding, no pressure, no sales pitch, it was great. A month later I called Barabara asked her if she had the make, model and color in stock as well as the price I would be willing to pay. She stated she had one vehicle left and agreed to the price. I thought for sure there would have been a catch because of the price and the fact she said she only had one left. I expected to get to the dealer and find out it just sold before I arrived. Approximately 2-1/2 hours after I called, I arrived at the dealer and the car was ready, cleaned up and I took it for a test ride. Barabara kept her word and stayed at the dealership to make sure it did not sell for me. I came back from the test drive signed the paper work and left the dealer with a new car. There was no catch, no renogotiation, no hassle, no intimidation, no redirection, no scam. It was perfect. This was the 5th new car I purchased in my life time and exactly the way it should be. If you are considering a car, consider Pohanka and ask for Barabar Barlow she is great and can be trusted. I'm going back in two years for another new car as my children begin to drive. I found this dealer through my insurance company. I live in a different state but they made it very easy for me. The Honda dealer by me told me that if Pohanka could sell me the car at the price that they said, then it would be worth the drive, and it was! Fantastic experience! We bought a new Honda Element. Wanted the EX w/ Navi (for me) and the orange color (for my wife). Unfortunately, it wasn't in stock or listed at another dealer to be brought in. We recently had the pleasure of doing business with Pohanka Honda while on the market for a new 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour. After contact through the internet, Tony Camper responded to our inquiree. We shopped around other dealers but were unable to get an offer anywhere close to that received from Pohanka Honda. On the morning of Memorial Day we made a telephone call and talked with Tony. After some conversations we were on our way to the dealership. Tony displayed the highest levels of professionalism while executing our negotiations. We were somewhat inpressed after some of the others we had talked with earlier at other dealerships. Tony spent quite some time going over all the functions and options on the automobile prior to a test drive. If you live anywhere in the National Capital Region, give this dealership a chance before you buy a new vehicle. You might think the drive is relatively long but you will be rewarded with hundreds if not thousnads of dollars in savings. Top those savings off along with a full tank of gas and a clean automobile and you will really be glad that you made the drive to Fredericksburg, Virginia. We were looking for a newer model CRV with low mileage. On our first visit we took a test drive on a "loaded" model, but were unable to come to terms with price. He called several times over the next week and ended up finding a 2008 with under 10,000 miles at Pohanka in Chantilly. After looking at the car online and discussing it with Anthony, he personally went up to the Chantilly dealership and drove the car down to Stafford. I went in that afternoon, took a test drive, and drove the car home 4 hours later. Anthony has called several times since to make sure I was happy with the car - I am...I love it!
