I recently purchased a 2013 Boxster S from Park Place Porsche in Dallas. I live in Houston, and was originally going to purchase from Momentum Porsche in Houston. When Momentum low-balled the trade-in value of my 2009 Carrera S, I decided to look elsewhere. I found another Boxster S at Park Place and spoke to Jason Putnam on the phone. We were able to quickly work out a deal, and I put $1,000 down to hold the car until I could pick it up the next weekend. Jason had the car moved to an upstairs showroom with the doors locked and a "sold" sign in the window. I planned to sell my Carrera S to Carmax as they offered me $6,000 more than Momentum. When Jason found out that I was selling the car to Carmax, he told me that they wanted the car. I originally was going to fly to Dallas, but they made it worthwhile to drive it up and trade it in with them. They didn't even see the car and insisted that they wanted it. This was the complete opposite from Momentum who acted like they didn't want my Carrera. When I arrived in Dallas, I was very pleased with the dealership. It is a very nice facility with an abundant selection of cars to choose from. Jason and the other staff were extremely friendly and pleasant to deal with. Not at all like Momentum which tends to be snobbish and tries to play games. Park Place took my trade in exactly as agreed, and they didn't try to pull any "hidden fees" into the paperwork for the new car. They were very straightforward and gave me a great deal. Adam Couch was the person handling all the paperwork/financing. He also was very pleasant to deal with. I wanted a LoJack installed, but I couldn't bring the car back as it would be too far to drive from Houston. Even though there was nobody available to have it installed, Adam made a call and had someone come to install it with the entire job done in less than an hour from the time of the call. This by far has been the best car purchase experience I have ever had. I highly recommend this dealership and will definitely be willing to make the trip from Houston to Dallas for future purchases.
