Sight Unseen So I had been looking for a preowned certified 2012 Turbo S for quite sometime. I saw an online ad for a Turbo S somewhere (I honestly can't remember; So I had been looking for a preowned certified 2012 Turbo S for quite sometime. I saw an online ad for a Turbo S somewhere (I honestly can't remember; there are so many online sites) and tracked it back to Porsche of Monterey; I live in Michigan. I called John Bassett, verified that that car was indeed what I was looking for. From the fact that the car was certified, the pictures, the reputation of the dealership and John's recommendation that the car was pristine, I made a reasonable offer for the car. Needless to say the offer was accepted. From there on everything was seamless.The paperwork, the communication and the delivery flawless. As far as the condition of the car; It was everything John said it was going to be. This is the 3rd Porsche I have bought online. Do your homework on who you are dealing with and deal with reputable dealerships. If you have a doubt about who is representing the car; go and see it. In this day and age the internet is growing as away of buying cars. Good businesses want your business and want you to be happy; otherwise with social media they will be instantly discredited. Meeting John in person for the first time, I wasn't sure what to expect, but he turned out to be warm, friendly, attentive, and professional. He seemed just as excited about my new car as I was! He took extra time to show me all the little details on the car and to set up all the electronics properly, which I definitely appreciated.
