Went into Jeep Dealership in Port Jefferson, NY to buy a Jeep Renegade, after speaking to the rude and arrogant sales rep (probably because I couldn’t afford a higher end Jeep at the time) we left and went Jeep Renegade, after speaking to the rude and arrogant sales rep (probably because I couldn’t afford a higher end Jeep at the time) we left and went to Security Dodge, recommended by friends, and we had a much better experience with the sales team. We purchased the Jeep. Then when I needed an oil change called Jeep in Port Jeff, as we live close to them and hoping their service department was better than sales. I was told they don’t do the oil changes, included with the lease, if you didn’t buy the car there. Ok….had an issue with my sunroof, they asked me if I bought the car there I said no, they gave me an appt for 3 months out…. I can live without a sunroof for 3 months. I make the appt drop it off, told me it would be be 2-3 days for them to take a look at it. After 3 days called and they told me they haven’t gotten it in yet to look at it and dispatch couldn’t tell them how long until it was taken in. Asked what the point was of having an appt. I get it if you need a few days for parts or to fix but to not even get it in the shop to look at it is unacceptable. He proceeded to tell me that when I dropped it off he had told me it could be an extended number of days, which was not true at all, my fiancé was there and heard what he said. From there we told him we would just come and get the car as I couldn’t go a “extended”period of time without a car. Also, when dropping off the car he informed me that they would be taking plate covers off from security and putting theirs on. Whatever…. thinking to myself, if you need to do something that small to try and make yourselves look good, go for it! So disappointed with this whole establishment. Brian was the person we spoke to in the service dept. I am not sure if this is a Jeep corporation issue or just Port Jeff. I honestly would give them no stars if I could as it was a horrible experience from sales to service. I would think Jeep corporation would be happy to make money wherever you buy or have service. 👎🏻 More
Buyer BEWARE! This was the most unprofessional car dealership I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime. First of all, their salesperson, Vanessa, had the most negative This was the most unprofessional car dealership I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime. First of all, their salesperson, Vanessa, had the most negative attitude, she’s clearly in the wrong business and knew absolutely NOTHING about the cars she was selling. She acted like it was an inconvenience that we were even there… meanwhile we came in with a very substantial CASH down payment. They did absolutely nothing to negotiate price. I’m so thankful we went with our gut about this place, their bad vibes and their unprofessionalism, as we were interested in a 2019 Dodge Ram, however upon going to test drive it, it didn’t start, we realized the starter was bad and they didn’t want to pick up responsibility for it! When we mentioned we wanted it addressed, we heard the manager bad mouthing us, and heard him running his mouth about us even more so during the process of us discussing “numbers”… they had another salesman staring at us and circling us like a hawk eavesdropping while my husband and I waited as Vanessa spoke to this despicable excuse of a General Manager regarding pricing. Once we overhead him talk about us, their “sales spy” told the general manager we overheard him and they started BLARING music throughout the showroom. It was an absolute joke! I’m so thankful we walked out. We ended up going with Smithhaven and they were an absolute pleasure, and we got ourselves a gorgeous RAM! Save yourself the time and the trouble, steer clear of this place! It’s a disgrace! More
Take the reviews seriously. Rude salesmen DO NOT deserve business. Nor does the companies that think it’s okay to scream at customers over the phone and hang up on them. “Maybe he’s having a bad day” does n business. Nor does the companies that think it’s okay to scream at customers over the phone and hang up on them. “Maybe he’s having a bad day” does not justify or make it okay. I was polite to the salesman. Dealt with him in person and he was super polite and helpful clearly only because he wanted the sale. After following up and asking questions in regards to what appeared to be an undocumented accident with rust and damage noticed, he lied, talked over me, got really nasty over the phone, literally screaming and hung up on me. If 0 to 100 was a person i would say this was him. This just clarifies that all these bad reviews on how rude these salesmen can be couldnt be more true. I spoke to the manager, he was polite and said he would speak to him but he was probably just having a bad day. I am sorry, but i work with people for many years, a company can only be as bad as the bosses allow it to be. One strike , okay warning, second time dont let it happen again, third strike you’re out. From many bad reviews i have read about this business, this behavior is repetitive and will never be stopped if not handled. I probably would have purchased the car still or another from them if i didnt have such a horrible experience but after that, never again. Nor do i reccomend it to anyone else. Deceitful, fake, rude and unprofessional. More

Don't know where to start Oh where to start. The service department has been a pain to deal with and i've caught them in lies several times. I also just inquired to look for Oh where to start. The service department has been a pain to deal with and i've caught them in lies several times. I also just inquired to look for a new car and the salesperson keeps calling me forgetting we already spoke, promises to call me back, and fails to do so. He also happened to tell me that the pricing on the website is BS and that he'll get me the real price which will be higher. Really nice... I wouldn't send my worst enemy here for a car. I will also now go out of my way to bring our existing car elsewhere for service if it can be helped. More
Nightmare buying experience. While I was able to purchase my vehicle there and truly astounded by their awful customer service and bait and switch...Their advertised price...Only if you finance through them, my vehicle there and truly astounded by their awful customer service and bait and switch...Their advertised price...Only if you finance through them, when will you know the rates? Only if you’ve been there for four hours waiting for them to get to you. Oh and don’t forget they’ll force the extended warranty and tire warranty on you...And not the generally recognized Mopar warranty that actually is the one jeep provides. What they offer is a outside third party Warranty with horrible reviews that is almost xxxx near impossible to get canceled even though they say if you don’t want it you can cancel the next day. Well after 65 days I was able to finally get the dealership to cancel my warranty and that was after both the state of New York department of finance and state of New York department of motor vehicles finally had to interject. Avoid this dealer at all costs they are complete and utter xxxx bags. Also it should be noted that their financing rates suddenly became so much more flexible and could be dramatically lowered if you took a warranty through them. Awful dealership appointment simple More
Jeff Bell the Gladiator I recently picked up my 2020 Gladiator from Port Jeff Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I was looking for a specific color Rubicon version. Through Jeff’s tireless I recently picked up my 2020 Gladiator from Port Jeff Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I was looking for a specific color Rubicon version. Through Jeff’s tireless efforts he found exactly what i was looking for a Pennsylvania dealership. We did most of the deal over the phone which saved me time. My Gladiator got to the dealership Thursday night. I picked up the vehicle Saturday morning without a hitch. Jeff walked me through how to use all the features. His knowledge was extremely helpful since I was coming from a 2008 Ford Ranger with crank windows. I have reached out to Jeff with questions since I picked up my Gladiator and he has gotten back to me quickly every time. Thanks again Jeff you maybe my retirement present to myself even better. ~ Rich Gandolfo More

Absolute worst experience!!! My salesperson after as if I was getting a good lease deal as a returning customer, only to get a $4500 bill 2 months after I leased a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee for over mileage f was getting a good lease deal as a returning customer, only to get a $4500 bill 2 months after I leased a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee for over mileage from past lease(salesman told me it was “not a problem”), and a charge to take of the tint that the dealer put on. I called the deal and spoke to the sales manager who basically said “too bad!” Now I’ll be stuck having to try and recoup monies in small claims court. STAY AWAY from this dealership!!! More
