Everyone working at Portland Saab is friendly, attentive and knowlegeable, but the serivces I have gotten there are always much more expensive than it seems they should be. Had a great experience. Made an appt. for a test drive, sales rep called the day before to confirm. Car was ready and waiting and I bought it on the spot. Got a better interest rate from them than my own c sales rep called the day before to confirm. Car was ready and waiting and I bought it on the spot. I am so pleased with my 2007 S80 I don't even care to drive my VW Toureg which is a beautiful vehicle in its own right. The price for the car was more than fair and it is in beautiful condition. I was hesitant to get a front wheel drive at first but I got set up with the winter wheel and tire package and the car performed beautifully in the limited snow and slush the we have had. The buying experience was top notch and the sales staff recognize that the cars will sell themselves, which leads to a low pressure environment. I did indulge a bit too much in the free coffee, so the maiden voyage was, let's say, jittery. Cary and James were super relaxed to work with and I appreciate their authenticity. I had only gone into say hello to Cary w/NO intentions of purchasing a vehicle. Cary & I chatted for a few minutes & he showed me the car he thought I would like. Cary was fabulous & so was the Service Staff and the financial person. Everyone treated me like a real person and with respect. They were great AND the reason I purchased the car. All of them went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for me and my new C70 Convertible. I traded in my Saab Convertible and being a SAAB owner. This is a high-end vehicle dealership, and though I was buying a used vehicle with a lower price point, they still treated me as though I was buying a top of the line model. Not at all intimidating.
