This dealership goes the extra mile for the customer. Best dealership I've ever had experience with. I traveled 250 for the deal they offered. Tried to get as good a deal locally but they wouldn't budge. The deal included free tires through 60K. When I had the car serviced while in Florida I was told that I needed new tires. Therefore should have had to go to Maine to get them. Drove home to Vermont and called the dealer. The dealership was more than willing to work with me and arranged to have the new Michelins sent via a friend who was in the area. They COULD have insisted I bring the car in, but instead worked with me. I was also very pleased with the arrangements on the purchase, friendliness of everyone at the dealership, friendliness and courtesy on the phone, willingness to hear me out when I explained my situation.... everything they did supported the customer. I just purchased a used Toyota Corolla for my 18 year old son for Portland Volvo and cannot say enough good things about the experience. From my first phone call with Scott who immediately set up an appoint son for Portland Volvo and cannot say enough good things about the experience. From my first phone call with Scott who immediately set up an appointment (within a half hour)and test drive; to Heath who took care of the answering my questions, took me on the test drive and even drove the car to my home; to James who handled the financing I was treated with respect and kindness. All were helpful and did not pressure me. They even beat a very good interest rate I had coming in from my credit union. I think one of the things that impressed me most is I was buying a used car that was much less expensive than a Volvo. But you would never have known that in their interactions with me. My son loves his new car and we are hoping he will be driving it for years to come. Great experience...easy, friendly, helpful and kind one cannot ask for more - oh and a great deal! More

Everyone working at Portland Saab is friendly, attentive and knowlegeable, but the serivces I have gotten there are always much more expensive than it seems they should be.
