Bought a 2022 Ram 1500 from Power Motors East and had a really good experience. Norman was my salesman and was easy to work with right from the start. I already knew I wanted a Ram so I really wasn’t looking to get talked into anything else. He understood that and didn’t waste my time trying to push other cars on me. Just showed me the truck, answered what I asked, let me look it over and gave me space. Honestly that’s all I really want when I’m buying a car. The process was pretty smooth too. Kendall and Federico were the sales managers I dealt with and both were cool. I had a bunch of questions once we started going over everything and nobody made it feel like I was being a pain. They explained things, worked through the numbers with me and kept everything moving. Buying a car is never exactly fun paperwork wise but this was definitely less annoying than some other places I’ve dealt with. I didn’t feel like I was getting bounced around all over the dealership or sitting there wondering what was going on. Really happy with the Ram so far. It drives way better than I expected for a truck this size. Comfortable, plenty of room inside and it still feels like a real truck. I’ve had pickups before that felt huge every time you drove them and this one is just easier to deal with day to day. Plenty of power, rides smooth and I actually like driving it even when I’m not using it for truck stuff. Power Motors East also had a lot more inventory than I expected. I went there for the Ram but ended up walking around checking out a bunch of other stuff while I was there. Definitely a good mix of cars, trucks and performance vehicles. You can tell they move a lot of different types of inventory. Overall I’m happy I went there. Norman was laid back and easy to deal with, Kendall and Federico were both helpful, and I left with the truck I wanted without feeling like the whole thing turned into some giant headache. That’s pretty much the best thing I can say about a dealership. Would definitely go back if they had something I wanted in the future. If you’re going to Power Motors East I’d ask for Norman. More
I recently bought a 2022 BMW X5 M Competition from Power Motors East and wanted to leave a review because I actually had a really good experience there. I had been looking for an X5 M Competition for a whil Motors East and wanted to leave a review because I actually had a really good experience there. I had been looking for an X5 M Competition for a while and had already looked at a few different ones before I found this one. I’m pretty picky with cars, especially when I’m spending this kind of money, so I wasn’t just going to buy the first one I saw. Darriel was the salesman I worked with and he was cool from the beginning. No crazy pressure, no following me around every second, no trying to convince me I needed to buy the car immediately. He basically let me look it over, ask whatever I wanted, and take my time with it. That was honestly one of the biggest things I liked because I hate when you go to a dealership and instantly feel like you’re being worked. I already knew I liked the BMW. I didn’t need somebody giving me a huge speech about why I should buy it. The X5 M Competition itself is an absolute animal. I knew they were fast, obviously, but it’s still kind of ridiculous the first time you really drive one. It does not feel like an SUV when you get on it. The power is crazy, it sounds great, and somehow it still feels really planted for something this big. At the same time I can drive it normally every day and it’s comfortable, quiet, has plenty of room, and doesn’t feel like some annoying performance car you have to make excuses for owning. That’s probably my favorite part about it. You can drive around like a normal person and then completely change the personality of the car whenever you want. The interior is also really nice. Seats are comfortable, everything feels solid, and there’s just enough M stuff everywhere to remind you this isn’t a regular X5. I’ve owned cars before where the excitement wears off after the first week or two, but that definitely hasn’t happened with this one. I still find myself looking back at it when I park it, which probably says enough. Darriel made the whole process pretty easy. I asked a lot of questions and probably looked over the car more than most people would, but he never acted annoyed or impatient about it. If he knew the answer, he gave it to me. If I wanted to look at something again, no problem. He wasn’t constantly trying to move me to the next step, which I appreciated. The dealership itself also had a lot of interesting cars around. Not just regular basic stuff. There were performance cars, luxury cars, trucks, BMWs, and all kinds of different inventory. I’m a car person so I actually liked walking around and seeing what else they had. It also made me feel a little better buying something like an X5 M there because clearly they deal with higher performance vehicles pretty regularly. It didn’t feel like I was buying some random specialty car from a place that normally only sells basic commuter cars. Overall I’m really happy I ended up buying from Power Motors East. The whole thing just felt more relaxed than a lot of other dealerships I’ve been to. Car buying can be annoying enough already and I didn’t feel like they made it harder than it needed to be. I got the exact BMW I was looking for, I didn’t feel pressured into anything else, and I left feeling good about the deal instead of feeling drained from being at a dealership all day. Darriel was a big part of that and I’d definitely tell anyone going there to ask for him. He was easy to work with, treated me with respect, and didn’t act like a typical pushy salesman. I’m loving the X5 M Competition so far and if Power Motors East has something I’m looking for again in the future, I’d have no problem going back. Definitely a five star experience for me. More

SCAM WARNING — DO NOT TRUST THE ADVERTISED PRICE My experience with this dealership was absolutely unacceptable. I spoke with them on the phone before going, discussed the truck, made an appointment experience with this dealership was absolutely unacceptable. I spoke with them on the phone before going, discussed the truck, made an appointment, drove about one hour, paid tolls, and arrived ready to buy the vehicle in full. I had already checked the Carfax and I was comfortable with the truck. I was not there to waste time, negotiate for hours, or play dealership games. I was ready to pay and leave with the vehicle. Instead, the moment they realized I wanted to pay in full and did not want their financing, the entire attitude changed. They wasted my time with unnecessary delays and ridiculous repetitive questions. The salesperson took around 30 minutes just to fill out a few basic fields on paperwork, asking things like whether my first name, middle name, and last name were correct even though everything was clearly on my ID. Then they finally showed me the real game. The truck was advertised around $26,000, but they wrote numbers on a piece of paper showing approximately $26,000 financed PLUS a $6,000 down payment — around $32,000 total. That is not the deal I drove an hour for. In my opinion, this is classic bait-and-switch dealership behavior: advertise an attractive price to get customers through the door, then push financing, protection packages, hidden charges, and other conditions once the customer is already there. They appeared much more interested in locking me into financing and selling additional products than actually selling me the truck at the price I came in expecting. I specifically told them that I did NOT want dealer tricks, protection packages, hidden fees, or high-interest financing. I told them I was ready to purchase the vehicle outright. Apparently, that was not what they wanted to hear. After hearing the numbers, I left immediately. Another disturbing part of this experience is the review activity around this business. There are a huge number of glowing 5-star reviews, while many of the low-rated reviews describe experiences that sound extremely similar to mine: advertised prices changing, financing requirements, additional charges, wasted trips, and high-pressure sales tactics. Based on what I experienced and what I am seeing across review platforms, I seriously question how trustworthy some of these ratings are. I also accidentally left my ID at the dealership and had to return to retrieve it. Considering they had my personal information and I am now publicly documenting what happened, that makes me extremely uncomfortable. I will be documenting everything and filing complaints with the appropriate consumer-protection agencies regarding the advertising and sales practices I experienced. Before going here, get the COMPLETE OUT-THE-DOOR PRICE IN WRITING. Ask them directly: • Is the advertised price available if I pay cash? • Is financing required to receive that price? • Is a down payment added on top of the advertised price? • Are protection packages mandatory? • Are there dealer fees or other mandatory charges? • What is the FINAL price including absolutely everything? Do not drive an hour based only on the advertised price or a phone conversation. Read the 1-star and 2-star reviews carefully. You may notice a pattern. I certainly did. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience. More
