I had a terrible experience at this dealership. I came in to trade my vehicle and had my heart set on a SUV.... It was mothers day weekend and is already a tough weekend for me as my sons father had recentl to trade my vehicle and had my heart set on a SUV.... It was mothers day weekend and is already a tough weekend for me as my sons father had recently passed away and a tree had fallen on it so it was just time for a new beginning. First I was interested in the Rogue-- again i came in for an SUV, they had me test drive a Platinum.. i absolutely loved it but realized it was a little too high priced for me, so they showed me a a Sentra..... on the other spectrum of what I wanted. I was trading in my 2015 Altima where Carmax offered me $8000 (payoff was $9100) they tried to offer me $5000. After showing them what Carmax would offer they went up to $6500.... Still not happy with this number the sales manager and salesrep tried to convince me that that's the most i would have gotten anywhere. Feeling vulnerable and frustrated i took a look into financing the Sentra even though its not what i wanted they just made me feel like that was the only thing i could afford. and worse it HAD to be the one on the showroom floor-- Kurt in finance said IM SELLING YOU THE CAR ON THE SHOWROOM FLOOR as if HE picked it out not me. After i told him i needed time to think about it he said twice in front of my child and father "Im going to handcuff you to this table if you don't take this deal" Funny to him but it wasn't to me. I was in tears at this point but had been manipulated to thing its the only thing i could afford and was desperate for a new vehicle. All this being said i purchased a vehicle that was priced at 23---- guess where it ended up? Almost $30,000 after maintenance and extended warranty i didnt need..... Fast forward 30 days, i felt robbed of my chance to be in a vehicle i want and could not stop thinking about it. The Sentra is nice but again, NOT what i wanted. I called to let Sutherlin know how i felt and how i felt forced to buy this car. Billy put me right back with Kurt the person i didn't want to work with... and it got worse. Kurt "wanted to make it right" so he put me in the S (basic) Rogue for 2 days to make sure i loved it before he would "make it work" (didnt discuss any numbers to do this) ... so what happened? of course i loved it..... my third trip back and what i thought was the last one. i sat around waiting for him for 45 minutes just to be told that the GM had to be there to "approve" the deal the next morning. This deal supposedly would put me in Rogue, give me the payment range that i wanted to be in AND would get $4 back on stuff i didn't want or need from original deal (extended warranty and maintenance). What happens next not to my surprise?? He calls to say its not going to work and that i would have to pay $7000. WHAT IN THE WORLD? WHY DOES IT KEEP CHANGING?! At a last attempt, my boss called to see if he could help work something out and he was hung up on by Kurt, the finance guy who apparently doesn't have a great reputation .... DON'T go here to buy a car unless you want to get lied to, dragged through the mud, forced to buy something you don't want and pay waaaay more at the end of the day then expected. Seem like a lot of other reviews can agree. I'm in tears again at this point and giving up... hoping this post can help prevent the same thing happening to someone else Seriously regret going here and wish i would have gone anywhere but sutherlin More

Nesrin did a great job in getting our best price approved. However, at the closing the sale, we were left without guidance for about 30 minutes. We didn't know what the next step was and finally som approved. However, at the closing the sale, we were left without guidance for about 30 minutes. We didn't know what the next step was and finally someone came and asked if we had talked to finance. A nice fellow stepped us through the financing and everything was smooth after that. I think there was a breakdown in communication at some point. Once we completed the sale, Nesrin walked us through the car and helped us on our way. Overall, a good car buying experience with this dealer. Thanks More
This dealership far exceeded my expectation. I didn’t feel pressure to buy. I felt well informed about the vehicle options. I will definitely recommend. feel pressure to buy. I felt well informed about the vehicle options. I will definitely recommend. More

I am writing in behalf of my husband. Unfortunately we have had the worst experience. Originally my husband wanted to purchase a "Utility" car and while searching the internet he came across your dealers have had the worst experience. Originally my husband wanted to purchase a "Utility" car and while searching the internet he came across your dealership. He talked to Sales and they told him he was pre-approved to a payment below $400. However, when he arrived at the dealership he was told sales entered the number wrong and that they payment would be over $500. Sales convinced him to get a Sentra (not mad about this, I know this is just what sales do) and that if he did not like it he could return it in less than 72 hours, no strings attached. He took the car home and we determined it was too small for our family. He returned the car 05/27 and purchased a Rogue. A week later, we get a call stating that he had to go call sign a new contract because there was a mistake in the payoff. My husband asked if the monthly amount was going to change he was told no. He started getting text messages. My husband works in a warehouse where he cannot use his phone and also, he does not speak English fluently. When he signed the contract and he is told he is approved and he is good to go, that is what he is going to believe. I asked my husband to call and have then confirm via phone that the payment was not going to change and that is when things got a little unprofessional. Just because my husband does not speak English does not mean he understand and knows when he is being laughed at. Two times, while on a call and a interpreter, I heard laughing in the background because my husband did not understand what was being told. I texted in behalf of my husband to please send the new contract with the changes highlighted and whoever responded at 10 pm was very unprofessional. I do not appreciate threats. Last Friday, we called Nissan Finance to asked why we were not approved thru them again and they said they did not have the paperwork for the first car yet. He had a conversation with Nissan Finance and Ryan. Ryan threatened to take this to legal? I thought arbitration was used...but OK. Today, again Ryan called my husband and told him if he did not come in today he was going to report the car stolen? Again, another threat. Is this the way Sutherlin Nissan does business? I called from my cell phone today Ryan and advised him I had all his text messages and VM saved. I asked to talk to the Finance Director and the phone was given to Seung Kim, which on your website says his is the Finance Manager, not sure if you need to update the website or not. I asked again to talk to Curt or you. I did speak with Curt where he states that we need to come up with $5k...really! or return the car. I asked where did the payoff amount come from, because I am sure my husband did not provide this amount. He told me my husband signed a document where it says that if payoff amount is incorrect we are responsible for the remaining amount. I am still trying to find this document in my husband paperwork. I don't understand how your dealership came short $5k when the car was finance thru NissanFinance. What we really want is for his payment to be $475 which is what he signed up for. I honestly feel my husband was taken advantage of because of his language barrier. When he is signing the documents and the interpreter told him all is good, approved, then all is good. I do not believe this is a "mistake" I believe "Bait and switch" tactics is being used here...not once, but twice. More
