FULL OF LIES ***I know this is extremely long, but please take the time to read, as it is all very important*** I am HIGHLY disappointed with the customer service ***I know this is extremely long, but please take the time to read, as it is all very important*** I am HIGHLY disappointed with the customer service this dealership provided. In February (2019), I purchased a 2017 Nissan Rogue that was certified pre-owned. This past week (October 14, 2019) there was a popping sound from front passenger side, so I took it up to the dealership to have it inspected. After three hours, the mechanic and service advisor told me my bushings were not on the car and they had, "never seen anything like" and they had, "no idea how it could have happened," because my car has never been in an accident and had been certified about 8 months ago. So, they instructed me to file a claim with Nissan, which I did. Nissan granted me 60% coverage, which left me with 40%. That 40% turned out to be almost $600 because they wanted to replace the front cradle. As you can imagine, I was very frustrated that I was now facing a $600 bill when I had just bought the car a few months ago and it was supposed to be like-new. I reviewed the certification checklist and bushings are part of the inspection, as well as heated seats. My car has heated seats, yet on the checklist it was marked as N/A. This led me to feel as though a thorough inspection had not actually been performed. I spoke with several staff members and was written off by all of them. They claimed there was nothing they could do, however Nissan claimed otherwise. After being sent back and forth between corporate and the dealership, I was eventually ignored all together by the dealership. I spoke with Brandon, who only told me all of the information I had been told thus far was, "inaccurate". I later spoke with the Service Director, who told me he would call me back that day after doing some investigating. However, I never heard from him again. I ended up taking my car to a local mechanic that has worked on several of my family member's cars for years and is actually TRUSTWORTHY. Within one hour he figured out that it was NOT the bushings, but it was actually broken subframe mountings. GREAT. After some research, I discovered that this is very common in newer Nissans that reach 40,000-50,000 miles, and there are people with similar stories to mine. My car had just gotten into the 50,000's. This dealership did nothing but lie to me and I am very disappointed with Nissan and how the situation was handled. Nissan has a big issue on their hands, but is unwilling to do the right thing and recall the subframe/subframe mounts they are using. Instead, they wanted to pass it off as my bushings and replace the whole front cradle (which would replace the mounts) and avoid filing it as a subframe issue. I was able to see my bushings and they are just fine. The last time I heard from this dealership, they claimed they were trying to work with Nissan to see what they could come up with and contact me later that day. I have not heard a word from anyone since that last phone call, which was several days ago (Oct. 18, 2019), and have called several times and left messages with several people. More
