However, we were very clear about the purchase decision process (including the matter of price) and the day we came in to notify y’all of our decision to choose the Rogue over the Kia Sportage we were told the price you gave us did not include floor mats and another $700 was added to the “firm” price given the day before. That issue was not honorably handled by your management/pricing team. We will certainly bring that to the attention of anyone and everyone who asks about our experience, which was otherwise quite good! More
Shady Practices I just don’t like the way they operate and I am becoming less happy with my purchase as the days go by. Drove for two hours to get my “new” used truck I just don’t like the way they operate and I am becoming less happy with my purchase as the days go by. Drove for two hours to get my “new” used truck and everything seemed fine at first. The truck drove nice, it looked nice and the carpets were very clean. I did notice that the front tires were pretty close to bald and the rear tires were not far behind. I mentioned it to the salesperson and was told that they “passed the inspection”. I didn’t think too hard on that because I figured I could negotiate new tires in the deal. Found that there was a rear headrest that was missing and the salesperson never realized that until I said something. Not a huge deal since I don’t sit in the back. We got inside to go over the price and there was a “used car inspection fee” of $1125! What the heck is that?! Well I got that negotiated off the bill but they wouldn’t give me new tires. Saying they would have to order them and I would have to come back...I live 2 hours away! I got a few more hundred dollars off the deal so I could pay for a couple tires and we settled on a price. By the way, Discount Tire said that the tires were too worn to even rotate. I have to buy four new tires and spend almost a grand on my new purchase. I drove home and everything seemed fine. I noticed the next night that my rear heated seats didn’t work. So I took off the button and saw it wasn’t connected. Why didn’t their $1125 mechanic find that? I also checked the air filter and found it needed to be replaced. Shouldn’t that have been part of the $1125? Then I crawled under the truck to look around and found massive amounts of oil on the bottom of the transmission. What the xxxx are they charging $1125 for?? I call xx on that and I’m glad I didn’t pay it. But now I have to worry that I have bigger problems on my dream truck because they are shady and obviously didn’t do what they are trying to charge for. I’m worried about what kind of problems I will find next that their “mechanic” didn’t find. Don’t deal with Sutherlin Nissan. More
