HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FROM A PICKY BUYER! I have a Type A personality - if I show up on the lot - I have already done research online - I have seen the prices, I have reviewed Consumer Reports, Edmunds, KBB personality - if I show up on the lot - I have already done research online - I have seen the prices, I have reviewed Consumer Reports, Edmunds, KBB and Cars.com, and I have either decided to test drive or just take a look at the Vehicle. I found the car I wanted to look at at Sutherlin Nissan - a 2006 Nissan Maxima SL with low mileage. I liked the Internet price, I printed the advertised price (as instructed on their own website), I brought my folder of research on the cars value, and also my trade-in value, and I drove to their dealership to check it out. When I arrived, I walked right up to the receptionist, I told her which car on the lot I wanted to see, and she called a dealer (Seymour) over to me. He didn't try to show me any other vehicle. He took me straight to that vehicle in the back of the lot even though it was getting a touch-up paint job on the back bumper. I liked what I saw. Fully loaded (except Navigation), very clean, and no odor. I test drove the vehicle - it drove very well, and because I had already done my research online, I was ready to negotiate a deal. Seymour offered me a fair price on my trade-in, a fair price on the Maxima, and I purchased an extended Platinum warranty at a fair price. One week later, the Maxima is back at the Dealership with transmission failure - but they are fixing it at no charge to me. The car was sold "As-Is" but without even asking them, the manager said, "You bought the car from us last week - we are going to fix the transmission - because the Sutherlin Nissan name matters." He went on to say that if the technicians had detected the transmission issue, they would have sold it at wholesale on a truck then, he apologized. Folks, I highly recommend Sutherlin Nissan. They were friendly, courteous, professional and fair. More

After over 40 years of purchasing vehicles, this was the best experience my husband and I have ever encounterd. The sales rep, Cotton, was extremely professional, warm, and patient. Cotton went beyond the call of duty to assist in getting us exactly what we wanted in a new vehicle. He even called us twice to see if we had further questions. He is a great asset to Nissan Sutherland in Buford, GA. Leanne Knight has even called us to make sure we were satisfied. We have already made two purchases within the last year, one for our daughter, because of the reliabilty and safety of their vehicles, and one for ourselves. We will continue to return to this dealership for any purchase. Their prices, service and straightforwardness are far superior than any dealership we have visited. I went to the dealership with low expectations as our credit had taken a hit with the recession and I'd had poor experiences with other dealers trying to capitalize on our situation. My wife and I went in looking for a new Nissan Versa as I knew it would be a good car for the bank to work with us in getting financing; however, upon driving the car it had poor acceleration with was a concern for me with the metro area interstates. We shared this concern with Semir who never applied any pressure, instead he simply walked us to the used car side and pointed out the best of what was available. We really liked an 08 Camry on the lot. After checking the car out with my mechanic, I discovered there could be an issue with the left axle or axle boot. They agreed to fix the problem if we decided to move on the car. Semir was a pleasure to work with. He made both me and my wife comfortable and did his best to look out for her when she had to come back to the dealership without me. David Nugyen, the finance manager, was equally pleasurable to work with. We even negotiated replacement of two front tires with the deal. The price point of the car was good, the car has low miles, is well kept, and our financing terms were generous. So, the reason for my rating of all 5's is simply from my experience, which I rate as top notch. By the way, I sold cars in the mid-90's for 3 years (Toyota, Lexus, and Ford) and I promise you, Sutherlin's service is far superior to those I worked for. Very often, we complain about poor service, but forget to acknowledge outstanding service. On two separate occasions, we have had the opportunity to work with Kevin Parsons and Leanne Knight. On both occasions, they were extremely courteous, patiently answered our questions, and provided outstanding service. We had a couple of significant repair needs that we were stressed about. When you live on a fixed income, large unexpected repairs can be unsettling. Kevin patiently explained the need for each and even took the time to tell us which were potential safety issues or could result in a future even larger repair. As a retired military family, he even made certain we were able to take advantage of the military discount. Once we realized the amount of the repair, Leanne graciously accommodated us with a complimentary rental and very carefully inspected the rental vehicle for any existing damage. During the past 30 days, we have spoken with 3 people who are in the market for a vehicle and unsure what type they want. All of them have been given Sutherlin Nissan as the best place to look. Our new neighbor drives a Nissan and we have given him Sutherlin’s name and directions so he can enjoy the same quality of service we have enjoyed. Thank you for hiring such qualified individuals. I bought a used car from Sutherlin Nissan with Vance. He was very cooperative with a making a sale, but did not care of offering customer service. Having the vehicle less than a month, brakes were completely gone. My wife and daughter were in the vehicle when the brakes went bad. I could have lost both of them. He never offered a carfax or show me any inspections of the vehicle. I went to Sutherlin to try to fix it and they gave me a hard time. Now my AC is gone and they knew it was bad and they put a lot of freon to keep it cool. David recommended I get extended warranty he said it covered the vehicle, it did not. I went back to see what they could do for me, basically he said IM SCREWED and I was pissing him off. WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!!! I would never buy a vehicle from them. All they care about is making a sale, they will lie just to get it. Please everyone DON'T get a vehicle from there, it almost took the life of my loved ones,that's how much they care. More
