Took my brand new TRD PRO in for its first oil change. Waited about three hours. Took my vehicle home and checked the oil. Overfilled well beyond the max mark. Had a master technician from another brand double check and he agreed. Brought my vehicle back after speaking to the service advisor and they sent my vehicle off site to be corrected. Car returns and I am told the level was fine all along. I am told two technicians checked to confirm. I checked the oil on the spot and the Service Manager agreed that it was overfilled. My vehicle is once again sent off site (THIRD TIME), and unbelievably it is STILL OVERFILLED. In this time the dealership drove my car 16 miles. Incredible. They also did not provide documentation until I made several attempts calling and emailing them for it. So a simple recap. First oil change. Prestige Toyota overfills motor oil significantly. 3 attempts for this dealership for an oil change issue. More than 5 HOURS spent waiting. Oil still overfilled by nearly a full quart. The service manager could care less. In fact, only time he even addressed me was on the phone after the third failed attempt. Prior he did not even greet me when we were standing next to each other dealing with this situation nor when I thanked him for agreeing with my assessment. Even after their service department failed to fix a simple issue, no contact from him. Incredible. If you never check their work, it would appear fine. If you are meticulous, care about your vehicle, do not go here. Simple as that. Overfilling an engine will cause long term damage. And they will drive your vehicle more miles than any dealer I have seen. The service advisor I spoke with was the only kind person there. Unfortunately he is not the one who actually works on the vehicles as he could be trusted to do the job right. More
