I took my car in in July for a starter issue. Since the replacement i had some engine trouble. Then today my engine caught fire. Had it towed to them while i wait to see what they plan tk do about it since replacement i had some engine trouble. Then today my engine caught fire. Had it towed to them while i wait to see what they plan tk do about it since they took the top end apart and the top end is what caught fire. Update: they are now saying oil leaked onto the exhaust manifold.. Which is on the far passenger side and caused a fire on top of the motor... I guess by quantum mechanics. Contacting the NHTSB and my attorney since BMW doesnt want to correct their mistake. More

Service department very difficult to get ahold of (not answer phone) and genius desk did not return phone call after leaving two voicemails. Finally service department informed me I had to bring car in on answer phone) and genius desk did not return phone call after leaving two voicemails. Finally service department informed me I had to bring car in only to find it was a setting that had some one called back with knowledge the appointment could have been avoided. In the meantime a second technical glitch occurred which the service department indicated was fixed only to have the same problem occur 20 miles after I left. That said, people were very friendly while on site. More
Worst service I have ever received as a customer, my car was in the shop for 3 1/2 months just to have it returned to me w/o it getting detailed which was the reason I took my vehicle in to begin with. Everyone at the dealership was quick to push the problem off to another service rep. It Is astonishing to me that bmw would want to lose a customer over a $300 job More
