When I tell you, STAY AWAY, please STAY AWAY at all costs. Buy your dream car somewhere else and NEVER let the service department touch your vehicle. I have been a customer with Priority Chevy for costs. Buy your dream car somewhere else and NEVER let the service department touch your vehicle. I have been a customer with Priority Chevy for nearly 10 years, and I used to love this dealership and the way they treated customers. However, the years have passed and the management and ownership has changed so much that the place is NOTHING like it used to be. I took my 2018 GMC Terrain in on Friday morning at 9:30 due to the AC compressor going out and the battery needing to be replaced. I bought the car with the AUL lifetime warranty, so all I’m required to pay is a $100 deductible for any repairs, but unfortunately the battery (special for auto-off vehicles) is not covered under that warranty. Nevertheless, they said they would start fixing the car and it would be ready no later than close of business on Monday. Monday came, and I heard nothing from the service advisor, so I called. Samantha told me that she was finishing up some paperwork and would hopefully be done within a couple of hours. 5pm came and my friend graciously offered to drive me to the dealership to pick up my car. On the way there, Samantha called and informed me that she couldn’t release the vehicle to me today, because they were waiting on AUL to pay them for their portion of the repair. I tried to reason with her and demanded she call Matthew, the manager, to get this resolved. It’s hard enough to go one day without a vehicle, but to go five days without one is near impossible for someone in my situation. Samantha informed me that Matthew told her to not release the vehicle to me until AUL pays their portion. When I asked to speak with him, he couldn’t be bothered to answer his phone again. What kind of place is open until 6pm but doesn’t have an authority figure available on-call? Mind you, I’ve done ALL my vehicles’ maintenance and repairs with Priority, so they know I can be trusted as a customer to make sure they get paid. Additionally, they knew I was able to pay my $525 portion of the bill on the spot. Couldn’t that have at least been a down payment on the bill? A guarantee at least? At this point I became very frustrated and shared some not-so-pleasant feelings with Samantha. She walked into the main dealership to speak to the general manager, she came back out with the same answer as I was told earlier. So, I walked into see the general manager myself. Again, some not-so-pleasant words were said, as he responded, “there’s nothing I can do”. I again returned to Samantha to see what else could be done and to demand, once again, to speak with Matthew. Surprise… he refused to answer his phone. At this point, I was so heated and angry I just had to leave, before things got out of hand. As a loyal customer, I can’t believe this is how I’m treated. I’ve never owed them a debt, and I’ve never left there without paying them what they are owed. I’ve bought three cars from them, and I’ve sent numerous others to them for car sales. Literally, my best friend bought a $70,000, top-of-the-line Silverado from them because of my advice. On top of that, the service department is the only people who have ever touched that engine or anything under the hood. So, to say I was pissed… yeah I think most people would be in my situation. There is NO reason my car couldn’t have been handed back over to me on Monday. Why make a loyal customer come back up to the store one day later JUST TO PAY!?!? Isn’t the nearly $100,000 in vehicles I’ve bought from you enough? Why was the fact that I was able to pay the $525 on spot not enough for them to be able to hand over my keys with a simple gentleman’s agreement? I don’t care how nice Gil is or was when he sold me my vehicles, the rest of the dealership and its management are TERRIBLE and unwilling to work with long-standing customers like myself. From this day forward, I will do everything possible to AVOID going to this dealership for anything other than my More
