My priority was Jarred's priority! Jarred Dukes helped me fulfill a very tricky mission to get my mom the car she needed. I'm impressed with him and Priority Toyota Chesapeake in gener Jarred Dukes helped me fulfill a very tricky mission to get my mom the car she needed. I'm impressed with him and Priority Toyota Chesapeake in general. You are in good hands with him and them! My mother is 97. She's in good health but has some memory issues. She and I shared title on a leased Priority Toyota 2015 Red Prius C1 with a vanity plate she invented herself. I drove her everywhere in it for three years and it was a good car. As the lease expired, I asked mom many times what she wanted and she always said she did not want to lose her little red car and her vanity plate. We could have paid off the remainder of the lease, the car was perfect for her size and needs, but at 65, I needed things it didn't have, like a backup camera, navigation, and some safety features. We looked at other cars; she didn't like them. One day, I understood that the biggest safety feature was that she recognized her little red car every time we left a building. She always found it! That settled it: getting her "a" car was not going to work; a solution had to be found where she would still recognize her car and her plate for her safety in the future. I talked to aftermarket people and the results of adding features after I paid off the lease would be iffy, but I was thinking about it when I happened to come across a photo online of a 2018 Prius C in Absolute red. It looked nearly the same - even the interior - and the few differences were things she would like! I checked the specs; the Prius C3 had what I needed and what mom needed. But they were mostly sold. I did a lot of research and couldn't find one. So I had a mission: I didn't need to buy a car; I needed to buy one very specific car. And I needed the vanity plate moved from an expired lease to a new purchase vehicle. And I needed help to do it. I found that help at Prority Toyota Chesapeake. Specifically I found that help in Jarred Dukes. He really understood my mission; why the very last Red Prius C3 (with no moon roof) on the east coast had to be brought in for mom, why as much paperwork had to be done as possible before I brought her in, why she had to finish the lease and sale herself, why the vanity plate had to be retained; everything. He worked tirelessly and enthusiastically to make this happen, helping me every step of the way. On the day we took mom to end the lease and close the sale Jarred had placed stars all over mom's car, and tied balloons on it, he had a Toyota Girl hat for her; he made it a party for her. It was really touching. While she was signing lease closure paperwork he and my husband moved everything from the glove box and console and changed her vanity plate to the new car. She got misty eyed about losing her little red car after the last signature and I asked her if she wanted to say goodbye. She did. I walked her to the sales bay and up from the rear passenger side (she commented on her beloved plate) to the passenger seat. and Jarred filmed as she got into the 2018 and started to sort her glove box to keep or leave things. It was only when I drew her attention to the 2018 on the manual that she noticed she was in a new car. The plan worked! And I know that success was work. I know there was a lot behind the scenes, and a lot of people involved. Many employees came to shake her hand after she signed the papers for the new car she and I now co-own. I thank all of them, most especially Tom Harmon (who found the car in West Virginia,) and Jorge in finance. But the face we saw and interacted with was Jarred. He pulled it all together and made the deal; he kept things rolling and he has kept in touch with us to be sure we are satisfied. We will be down to see him sometime soon so mom can get another hug. His professionalism and focused interest at managing every aspect of 'my mission' was only matched by his sincere good humor and genuine warmth. I would recommend Jared Dukes and Priority Toyota Chesapeake to anyone. He will help you with your mission and find your car and they will provide every service and comfort you can imagine. We call that dealership "Auto Disneyland." It has everything! More

The entire staff was friendly, informative, and helpful as well. I got a 2018 Toyota 4Runner demo, it had a few scratches on it but they fixed those completely and took care of every request I had. As stressful as buying/leasing a car can be, the Priority team really helped alleviate as much of that stress as possible and I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to buy/lease a vehicle.
