Felt like WE were buying a car, not them selling me one! I started off trying to shop around and find 'the best deal' but quickly remembered how I despise they way car dealers treat you and how you never kno I started off trying to shop around and find 'the best deal' but quickly remembered how I despise they way car dealers treat you and how you never know how much they are screwing you. As soon as the first car salesmen from a local dealer said they cannot budge on the price and can't wiggle on their almost 500 dollar processing fee I contacted Pure Pursuit. They guaranteed they could find my car, outfitted the way I wanted and at or below the price the other guy had no wiggle room on. Sounded too good, but they were open and honest about all the fees, stepped me through the whole process. But, most importantly, treated my professionally and friendly through the entire search. They do the heavy lifting behind the scenes, keep you informed, do all the paperwork online (super easy) and delivery the car right to your door (or you can pick it up). It is a different process than I was used to, but now I wonder why this isn't THE WAY everyone does it. Certainly will be back when it is time for another car. More

On a whim, I decided I wanted to move out of my downtown loft, buy an a 5th wheel camper and start a branch office in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I wanted to move quickly and didn’t have time to try and buy and sell vehicles much less search all over the place. After speaking with Bret at Pure Pursuit, I decided I would give it a try. I was specifically looking for an F250 diesel with less than 150,000 miles, white, leather and in excellent condition for a certain price. Once I sat down with Bret, he was able to open my eyes up to the wealth, not to mention overwhelming amount, of data resources he had at his fingertips to search for and evaluate used vehicles – including the one I was searching for. After losing one at auction, we bid on another from a dealer 1200 miles away. We were able to see lots of pics of the truck and get ratings on the dealer and how reliable/trustworthy they were. We asked lots of questions and decided to make a deal and ship the truck to Kansas City. The entire process was fun, interesting and painless and I always felt like I had control and wasn’t likely to get taken advantage of. Once the truck arrived, I was able to get my bank involved and we financed the vehicle quickly. All the documents and financials were handled electronically, and I got my car delivered to my door step. Even though I am in Indiana, I got better, more direct, and more frequent communications from PPA than I have ever gotten from my local dealership. I live in Chicago, and after researching and shopping M3's online for many months, found exactly what I wanted at a place I'd never heard of called Pure Pursuit in Kansas City. Buying a used performance car requires a certain level of trust, and through the reviews I read, and responses I got from Pure Pursuit themselves, I felt comfortable enough and decided to go for it. I made a deal online without having seen the car in person, flew to Kansas City with 1 day notice, was picked up from the airport in my new car, which I drove to the dealer for some quick paperwork that was all ready to go, and then drove it back to Chicago the same evening. From start to finish I was treated with friendliness and fairness. Everyone I dealt with was great- from Bob, to Bret, to Lisa, to the owner Glen himself. As for the car- it is amazing and nearly flawless for a used vehicle.
