Car beyond my Dreams! I became enamored by the CX9 over a year ago. At first glance I loved the styling. We were still paying on our 2014 Nissan Rogue so when that got paid I became enamored by the CX9 over a year ago. At first glance I loved the styling. We were still paying on our 2014 Nissan Rogue so when that got paid off I was going to find one. With a new sticker out of my reach I looked for over a year until I found a 2018 CX9 Signature that interested me.It was a bit over my budget but I had to see it and see if we could make a deal. I made contact through one of the car search engines- Cars.com I think- I was contacted by Sierra who handed me over to Chris. He was very professional and siad the car was in the process of getting checked out for Mazda Certification and detailing. I set up an appointment to see it but a few days went by before we finally got a time for me to come in. I had seen a couple other cars but they were not my favorite color and one was out of state in Portland. It was certified too but when the salesman took some pictures it showed lots of scratches and bumper damage. I wanted mine to shine from the beginning. Chris couldn't be there when I went to see it Wallace was there to answer my questions and show me the car. I couldn't have asked for a better guy, a Mazda owner himself, who showed me all the different settings that came with the car from warnings to Nav, from stereo to usb connections. My first impressions of the car were breathtaking! If I didn't know it was a 2018 I would have thought it was brand new. I liked the Metallic Gray because it shimmered like liquid mercury on the commercials. I wasn't disappointed as there were no imperfections in the finish at all. I love the Auburn Napa leather interior as it reminded me of baseball glove leather. It too was immaculate. When all was said and done and I took it for a drive Wallace and I talked the numbers which Chris had said Wallace was very capable of making me a great deal. There was no beating each other up. When we shook hands to consummate the deal I was happy and will be for years to come. The buying process was easy and accommodating through my credit union and Ash, the finance manager made it work easily. When I came to pick up the car the next day there was a couple hour delay but they made good by giving me a tank of gas and saw me on my way. Its been a week now and I have no regrets. Its funny, all the time I spent on all the car search engines I kept thinking Puyallup Mazda a few times and even looked at their website. I guess in was meant to be!!! More

The dealership was about to close for the day but Aubree got pictures for me right away of a GMC truck that we had been interested in. Oh! was it a beauty! After that Justin in sales phoned me. The next day I was down to the dealership first thing. I had mentioned that my husband didn't have the time to come to see the truck so I was checking it out but then Justin suggested that I take it for part of the day to show my husband at work and long story short we purchased the truck by late afternoon. Some of our paperwork was dealt with over the phone/texting which was wonderful. Who wants to sit at a dealership for hours NOT ME! Everyone that we dealt with was wonderful. So far so good. More

Generally speaking, most people aren’t super fond of Generally speaking, most people aren’t super fond of the whole car/truck buying process. There is a frustrating “dance” that you have to go throu Generally speaking, most people aren’t super fond of the whole car/truck buying process. There is a frustrating “dance” that you have to go through and there is a lot of them pretending like they’re jumping through hoops to give you a great deal. The day I bought my truck I had gone to another dealership, told the salesman what I wanted and he went back to his manager several times. Each time he came back with a marginally better deal. I get what he was trying to do but that process absolutely drives me crazy. I told him what I wanted, if he couldn’t make it happen to begin with then just tell me and we can part ways. No hard feelings. When he came back with his “best deal” I told him that it wasn’t the deal I needed so I got up and walked out. He chased me outside and told me “I just spoke to my manager and he said he’d do your deal.” Too late bud. Deal is dead. About an hour later I stopped at Truck Country and met with Rickey Doyle (trust me, you are going to want to deal with him) and was immediately put at ease. He has a very calm vibe and isn’t pushy at all. In fact, there was a truck there that was less expensive than the 3 I was looking at and he told me that the best bang for the buck was the cheaper, 2011 Toyota Tundra. After driving a few of the trucks I finally decided on one and we went inside to talk numbers. We sat down at his desk and he just asked “What are you looking to spend and what are you looking to get on your trade?” I told him about here I’d like to have my payment (which I knew from the truck I wanted wasn’t going to be doable but you need a starting point) and what I wanted the trade to get me. He went to talk to his manager, ran some numbers and came back. It was a little higher than what I wanted but I expected that based on the value of the truck. The whole negotiation didn’t seem combative one bit. In fact the most difficult one in the party was probably me because I was texting back and forth with my wife to get her input. Sometimes it took a while for her to get back to me because she was working. Not once did Rickey seem irritated or annoyed by this. He was always friendly and never made me feel rushed. After making sure the wife was on board with the truck I needed to go get her so she could be on the title. Rickey gave me the keys and suggested I take the truck to go pick her up. The truck drives like a dream and she was as impressed as I was. When we got back to Truck Country it was time to do what everyone loves to do...sign the paperwork. My last vehicle I purchased, the finance portion of the deal was undoubtedly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car dealership. I’m not going to name the dealership but you can go to my profile and figure it out pretty easily. The process at Truck Country is done the way it should be. You go in and sign papers, warranty policies are offered and explained and if you don’t want them then there isn’t any hard feelings. Although this time we did get the warranty because it’s a used 4x4 truck. Don’t expect anything to go wrong but if it does it isn’t cheap to get something repaired. Overall from beginning to end it was one of the best experiences I’ve had buying a vehicle. If you’re in the market to purchase something you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t a least stop in and at least give them a chance to earn your business. I promise you will not regret it. Class act all the way. More
