I was interested in buying a car that i found online and informed the car salesman I had my own financing through my bank and I feel like because I wouldn't use thier financing they gave me the run around a informed the car salesman I had my own financing through my bank and I feel like because I wouldn't use thier financing they gave me the run around and no one would help me. I have reached out to my saleman(Jeff) and a manager (Clearance) multiple times trying to get a buyers order so I could get the check from my bank so I could purchase the car. After multiple attempts Clearance finally sent me a buyers order but did not sign it. Called him back and emailed him several times about sending me a signed buyers order which he said he would send right over but he never did. I understand they get more money off using thier Financing but we as consumers should be allowed to use our own if we so choose. It shouldn't be this difficult to purchase a car needless to say I will be taking my business elsewhere. More
BUYER BEWARE! !!!!!!!!!!!! If I could a give negative star rating, I would... I contacted this dealership on Monday about a vehicle. I ended up speaking with AT LE !!!!!!!!!!!! If I could a give negative star rating, I would... I contacted this dealership on Monday about a vehicle. I ended up speaking with AT LEAST 4 different people because everytime I called in, the person I'd spoken to previously was unavailable...as if they were too overwhelmed to take my business seriously, hindsight, I suppoose that should have been my first clue. Nevertheless, I confirmed with them that I had secured financing through my credit union, told them the vehicle I was interested in and confirmed an appointment to come in on Tuesday, the next day. We drove excitedly to the dealership (which was an HOUR away) only to be approached and told that there is a "situation". Get this!....The situation was that a couple walked in 30 minutes before me and they were currently discussing financing to fund the purchase for the car that I was there for!!!! I was in pure disbelief when I was told that they have a "first come, first served" policy. And because I hadn't accepted financing through them nor had put any money down already, they didn't take me as a "serious" (or worthy) buyer. Again, they knew I confirmed financing and was on my way and they STILL sold my vehicle of interest. Where I believed I was clear that I was a serious buyer, they tried to make it seem as if they couldn't tell. If I had simply been asked if I would like to secure my vehicle with a small down-payment, I would have. To me it seems that a salesmen who wants to secure a transaction would explore the seriousness of a buyer (who likely wants to secure their vehicle of interest) by asking this question and then proceeding accordingly. It seems everything was decided for me and I didn't have a fair chance to purchase the vehicle. The negative stereotype for car salesmen will continue to thrive because of dealerships run like this. I could not be more disgusted by the way this all went down. Buy your vehicle somewhere else that deserves loyal customers. More
