I have been shopping around for an electric vehicle for about a week. I've requested information from a local Mitsubishi Dealer and they had never gotten back to me. My husband and I decided to call Sanson about a week. I've requested information from a local Mitsubishi Dealer and they had never gotten back to me. My husband and I decided to call Sansone Nissan, a local Nissan dealer but we were put on hold for over 10 minutes. We lost patience and decided to call DCH freehold Nissan. One of the reps got on the phone right away. We arrived at the dealership and were treated extremely well. We were taken care of by John Cordano, who offered us water, coffee and the like. After asking about the Nissan Leaf, we were asked to wait because there was a specific salesman who was trained to tell the customers about the electric vehicles. John, noticing that we were waiting a little too long, managed to grab the keys and take us for a test drive. He was extremely professional and answered as many questions as he could. After the test drive, John introduced us to Elliot who showed us the rest of the features of the Leaf. John had never left our side and was very understanding throughout the whole process. A few hours later, thanks to John and Elliot, I became a happy, very satisfied owner of a Nissan Leaf. If you ever go to DCH Nissan, make sure to deal with John Cordano. He is to the point, honest and does a thorough job. You will surely have a great car buying experience at Nissan DCH. Side note: John and Elliot called me back the next day because there were some tax errors in the paper work and corrected it immediately. That was quite a bonus being that it lowered my monthly payment by $50. Yay for DCH! More

This was the most pleasant car-buying experience of my life! I appreciate the honesty, integrity, and friendliness shown to me by the sales staff at DCH Nissan. There was no pressure and, most importantly life! I appreciate the honesty, integrity, and friendliness shown to me by the sales staff at DCH Nissan. There was no pressure and, most importantly, no bait and switch tactics like I had witnessed at other car dealerships. I explained what I was looking for, and Howie found precisely what I wanted at the right price to fit my budget. Best of all, I had choices and did not have to settle. I would most definitely recommend DCH Nissan to any and everyone I know who is in the market for a new or pre-owned vehicle. Thank you, gentleman, for restoring my faith in car salesmen. More
We has a really bad experience at Pine Belt Nissan of Keyport,NJ so we drove over to DCH Nissan. They were beyond phenomenal! From the moment we walked in the door they welcomed us and treated us like we Keyport,NJ so we drove over to DCH Nissan. They were beyond phenomenal! From the moment we walked in the door they welcomed us and treated us like we already bough a car from them before we even did. The customer service was amazing and we left so happy that's all we could talk about on the way home. John, who greeted us in the showroom was an expert in his field and made our experience one to remember forever. He is truly a wonderful human being who really cares about what the customer needs. If anyone is reading this GO TO DCH!! Ask for either John or Steve or anyone!! They all work together as a well oiled machine. I am absolutely thrilled to be writing this review about a GREAT dealership and even more extremely high class people. Thank you so much DCH for making this an amazing experience that we will treasure forever. More

The salesman Shay, while nice enough I suppose, was very inexperienced and kept wanting Murphy to take over in answering questions or pushing me to make a deal... After talking to Murphy for several minutes, I was out of there! Murphy seems to be the kind of person who will tell you anything if it seals the deal. It honestly felt like he had no conviction in being honest or even somewhat honest (he is a car salesman after all). I got the impression that he didn't care who you are or what your thoughts were, it was his way or no way. He's overly pushy and in all honesty, less about selling and more about pushing you to do something. A friend of mine, who did buy a car from DCH some time ago, said the price was good but the customer service is abysmal, he was right! Ultimately, I didn't go through because I couldn't see why I should... Should I reward these guys by way of commission for their lackluster service? Should I have to deal with all the potential headaches down the road if something were to go wrong? The few hundred dollars less in asking price from other dealers just wasn't worth it. I went elsewhere and I'm glad I did. It turned out the other dealer easily beat Murphy's best price (a price he was telling me he was losing money on). Which also bothered me... What does he think - we're all idiots? No dealer or salesman in the world is selling cars for a loss... How would you keep the lights on or make your payroll, if you're always taking a loss. It's insulting and Murphy should take a class on etiquette and how to be respectful or at least act respectful. Anyways, I'm happy I purchased elsewhere and you will too! Don't believe me? Go there and find out how bad they are for yourself! More

I bought a Nissan Murano from DCH 2 years ago and I was very happy with the vehicle but after 65K miles I had a problem with the transmission. I brought it to a transmission guy who has fixed transmissions very happy with the vehicle but after 65K miles I had a problem with the transmission. I brought it to a transmission guy who has fixed transmissions for 40 years and he told me what the problem is but not to worry because Nissan warranties all transmissions for 5 years or 120K miles. (I've come to find out the reason is because Nissan uses CVT transmission which has a number of problems) When I brought it in to be serviced I was told, within 5 minutes of inspecting the vehicle and not actually driving it or putting it on the lift, that it was not my transmission but my transfer case. Coincidentally (yea right) is NOT covered by the same warranty as the transmission and only has a 60K mile warranty and would cost $3K to fix. DCH knows this and they refused to fix my vehicle. A few days later I received an e-mail from Miguel Carrera that due to recent demand overseas Nissan would be willing to buy my Murano back from me for the price of $16K. This seemed like one of those "too good to be true" offers so I went in the next day (with the e-mail from Miguel in hand) to find out what DCH Nissan could do for me. When I arrived Miguel was not there so I was passed along to a Mr. Ernie Keise. I gave him the e-mail sent by Miguel to myself to Mr. Keise and he, like myself, was skeptical of this "offer" and decided that he would need to inspect the vehicle. After about 30 seconds of inspection he came back over to me, threw the paper the e-mail was printed on at me, said he wasn't interested and walked inside. At this point I wasn't shocked that this obvious "too good to be true offer" was in fact just that, but I was shocked and the blatant disrespect I was shown. When I pressed him for an answer about why, as any informed consumer would do, he mumbled something about the transmission being no good (yea no kidding...but don't tell that to service guys because the 20 year old you have working there says it's the transfer case). I asked again for a clearer explanation and if the price was negotiable without the tranny fixed or if they would be interested if they transmission did get repaired. At this point a Mr. Christopher Murphy became very confrontational and angry with me about my questions. I explained I just wanted a clear answer to my questions as any informed customer would but he proceeded to rant and rave that it was harassment. (Why because I was actually asking questions? Or maybe it was because he knew I was right and didn't want me to be asking them?) As a man and as a Nissan customer since 1997 I have never been or felt as disrespected as I did today. I will NEVER buy a Nissan from DCH or ANY car from DCH for that matter ever again. And knowing Nissan allows these types of people to work for them it makes me not want to buy a Nissan ever again. For those looking to buy a Nissan I would strongly reccomend doing your homework on these CVT transmissions as they are breaking down at an alarming rate and if you've had Nissan Service Station claim it was a transfer case that broke I would get an actual expert to give you a second opinion. Prior to meeting Dave Barysh at DCH Nissan I spent 6 long months trying to find a used car for my son. My son is a first time driver as a 17 year old. With that in mind and having a limited budget it was a v months trying to find a used car for my son. My son is a first time driver as a 17 year old. With that in mind and having a limited budget it was a very frustrating experience trying to find a decent reliable car. One Saturday afternoon in early March I visited DCH Nissan in Freehold and met David Barysh. As I had done many times before I explained I was looking for a first time car for my son, naturally I wanted a very good car for him but had really limited funds. As we spoke and walked around the lot, he explained the challenge of finding a car that would meet my requirements at my price level but he understood my position. He took my name and number as so many other salesmen had done and said he would contact me if a car in my category would come across his desk. The next day Sunday morning, I received a phone call from David telling me after I left the dealership that afternoon someone had traded in their car in a deal late that Saturday night. He said it was meticulously maintained, was in great condition and most importantly it was in my price range. I visited the dealership the following Saturday after the car was inspected by their mechanics, test drove the car and bought it that day since it was a gem. The main point of my review is I am totally satisfied with my experience because David treated me like a family member. He called me on Sunday morning his day off, he contacted me several times during the week to relay the status of the car being ready for sale, he and his manager were more than fair on the price of the car. The car is 11 years old so an issue popped up after a couple of days. I contacted David, he said bring it right in and had his mechanics repair it at no cost. If you are in the market for a used car and wish to meet a salesman who will treat you with respect, will not try to sell you just any car, will not try to convince you to buy a much more expensive car, and will treat you like family, make a trip to DCH Nissan and meet David. I did not know him before my trip to the dealership that day, but it's a month later and he still calls to see how my experience is going with the car. I bought a used car from him, but my treatment from David and the dealership is as if I bought a brand new car, no difference. The car was immaculate when I drove it off the lot that first day. It runs like a charm and I feel totally satisfied that I was able to put my son in a very safe, reliable car without going over my budget. Please do not view this review as going over the top, I am being totally honest about my experience, I was in a very difficult situation where many of us who need a car for ourselves or have children who need a car and have limited funds to work with. I wrote this review to give back to David for all he has done for me, and also to let anyone who may be in need of a car and is looking for a used car, go to DCH Nissan in Freehold and ask for David Barysh. I am confident you will not be disappointed. I wish I had someone tell me about him long ago, so I wouldn't have to had experience the disappointment and frustration that my son and I had to endure prior to buying my car from David and DCH. Once again thank you for treating me like family and for continuing to treat me like family. Every time I turn the key to my car I thank you... More
