Warning the Freehold Nissan dealership does not even deserve one star. They are unscrupulous and don't back their ads. I brought in a letter from them stating they would pay my last payments on my old l deserve one star. They are unscrupulous and don't back their ads. The dealer had the car I was intending to buy clean and ready for me upon arrival. Since this was my first time going there in person, I took a look at the car and saw some damage that I didn't notice in t ready for me upon arrival. They offered to clean up some of the scratches but after taking it for a test drive, I decided that I didn't like it that much. Granted, it was a Sentra. I took a look around the lot and decided upon a Rogue. The Certified program is great and means I have 80k miles and 4 more years before I am out of warranty on my new car. The process was easy after we got over an insurance hiccup and the staff were friendly and patient. More

Spent a good deal of time here with the impression by the way the rep was tapping on the computer that, he was trying to get me a fair price he asked me' are you ready to walk out of here today with a new car? "Let's go for a ride". We went out in the Murano of course I loved it . Sat down again and the rep was pricing me triple what I stated I could spend,, in addition, he wanted me to put down $22,000! He was confused on leasing and purchasing this car. Trying to tell me that the price is what it is. In addition, he took my credit and ran a credit check. I told him I did not want the credit check run because it brings down my score; I was advised by him" no this is a soft check it will not effect your credit" Guess what.? Two days later my score went down two points the credit check was by them and did impact my score. in conclusion, I was clear on the price I could pay for a lease …I asked the rep to not waste my time if that price was not going to work.. so no reason to waste my time from the beginning Oh yes, the manger came over and stated "the cars are limited and the manufacturer sent very little supply's and we have no room for negotiations Repeat STAY AWAY SHOP somewhere else More
They used to be pretty good when it was owned by DCH. Now, their service department is very difficult to deal with. I also had an issue a while back with my '09 Altima, and they ended up charging me $600 to change the signal and market bulbs - just the bulbs! I couldn't trust them with a transmission issue, so I took my '16 Maxima to Sansone Jr in Neptune, a half hour drive away (Freehold Nissan is 15 mins away). Be careful with these guys - if you come in for maintenance, you might end up having to return for a problem you didn't have before! More

I drove from Virginia to New Jersey to Freehold Nissan on 29Oct. We came to an agreement on the price of the car and settled. I test drove the car, but it was raining pretty hard so I didn't notice some of t 29Oct. We came to an agreement on the price of the car and settled. I test drove the car, but it was raining pretty hard so I didn't notice some of the issues I encountered the next day on my drive home. I felt the brakes pulsating when braking from highway speeds. I tried calling my sales rep Bradley Foley that day and texted him. He texted me back about needing some additional paperwork. He neglected to address my concerns about the brakes. In addition, the car began making a rattling noise around the power steering pump region. Please keep in mind this was a 2018 Certified Pre-Owned Nissan Maxima Platinum. I tried calling and texting Oct 30,31, Nov 1, Nov 2, and finally put a complaint in to Nissan Corporation. I asked to speak to the GM and was never put through to him. I left messages and emailed Bradley. I even recorded the noise so Bradley could hear it. I finally took it over to another Nissan dealership to get a diagnostic. They told me the rotors needed to be resurfaced and someone had put aftermarket pads on it. They said the rattling was coming from a bracket that was bolted down near the low pressure hose of the power steering pump. All totaled up, the repairs are going to cost over $700 to repair. The dealership's apathetic attitude and lack of respect to even give me a call is terrible. No one has even followed up even acknowledged the issues. They owed me a second key fob and I wrote the issues on it as well and still nothing. Again, this is a certified pre-owned vehicle. The customer service has been terrible. This situation has taught me a lot of valuable lessons. Picking the right dealership is on the top of the list. More
Worst car buying experience ever. Sales people were nice but slimey finance guys try to sneak in crazy fees at the end. When I called them out on it they couldn’t even apologize. Saying it was all disclosed. Run far and fast from this place. Car dealerships are bad to begin with but this place is by far the worst of the worst. If you ignore this review don’t say I didn’t try to warn you. More
