My experience with Gerry Wood Kia in Salisbury, North Carolina was everything short of exceptional. Anyone purchasing a vehicle desires a seamless experience, one where they will recommend others to do the same. Full disclosure my credit score is low and I we faced some previous challenges. I decided to apply for credit, and move forward with buying a vehicle. After being in contact with Tamara, one of the internet sales managers. She advised that they will work hard to build a deal that I would be happy with. After being advised that I was approved the experience following that was pathetic. I came to the dealer to provide proof of income, and to sign paperwork, only to learn that there was no deal. The saleswoman advised, that they had were unable to locate the deal and that Josh, the general sales manager who told me via text message I had an approval; was out due to family emergency. I was infuriated and decided to leave, I spoke with Tamara again and she assured me that he in fact had a deal and that it wasn’t a sales tactic. I beg to differ, the following day yielded no results, I will never buy a car from Gerry Wood Kia. 1/17/20, I purchased from DriveTime, a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta fully loaded and I got a great deal for the car. It’s to go without saying don’t lie to people, doing so creates false hope. This false hope further adds anguish to what can already be a very stressful experience for one. Again, my experience was everything short I what I desired it to be. I commuted via Lyft 30 minutes because I had an “approval” a complete waste of time and money. There’s nothing wrong with communicating that you can’t help someone. That allows the consumer to make informed decisions that are in their best interest, not in the name of making pointless sales contacts. More

It all started with Addison ,we haggled a little online,got close to a price I really liked save me about $6000 , then I talked her boss he saved me another $1000 with Kia financing we made a deal o online,got close to a price I really liked save me about $6000 , then I talked her boss he saved me another $1000 with Kia financing we made a deal over the phone I could handle so I made an appointment.Drove down next morning got there about 9:00 my saleswomen was Hiedi she explained every thing to me with two hrs I on my way home with my new car ,by the way I 210 mile to by this car , I would do it again next time what a great buying experience I had.
