Excellent Customer Service!!! I went to gerry Wood Auto in Salisbury Monday to look for a new car. I had already been to a dealership in Winston-Salem and Lexington without finding I went to gerry Wood Auto in Salisbury Monday to look for a new car. I had already been to a dealership in Winston-Salem and Lexington without finding one. As soon as I drove on the lot a very nice man by the name of Jimmy Yelland asked if he could help me. I told him I was looking for a mid size SUV. When we were inside the dealership at his desk he offered me coffee, tea or water. I knew right away Jimmy knew how to treat a customer. He asked what color exterior, interior and options did I want on an SUV. After I told him he searched the inventory and asked if I had ever considered a Kia. I had not. My last car was a Lincoln MKZ and I was looking for another like it only bigger. I always thought Kias were a low end car but boy was I wrong! Jimmy showed me a baseline 2019 Sorento. It was nice inside and out. I test drove it but I was looking for an SUV with more bells and whistles. Jimmy delivered big time! I ended up buying a 2019 Sorento SXL full size SUV. I can't think of one option this SUV doesn't have, from the terra cotta leather seats to the built in wireless phone charging pad. In my opinion the Kia Sorento is right up there with the Lincoln, Cadillac or Lexus! The whole experience at gerry Wood Auto was wonderful from meeting Jimmy to the finance person. When I got chilly inside the dealership another salesperson by the name of Lena even let me borrow her shawl! Amazing customer service from everyone there! Jimmy works at the gerry Wood Dodge dealership but he can show you any car on any lot. If you are looking for a car, new or pre-owned, go to gerry Wood Auto and ask for Jimmy Yelland! More
